Youko Kurama vs. Lyserg Diethel

I've been on a ghost fighter rampage lately (Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach, Shaman King). :zaru

This is Lyserg as an Elemental Warrior (keep in mind he is the second strongest after Chocolove). Youko is at his greatest point that has been shown, which means he is considered S class or even S+ class.

Pascal said that Lyserg was the cleverest of the five, but in my opinion his intelligence does not compare to Youko's. Yet, while the issue of intelligence is clearly in Youko's favor, Lyserg definitely has an elemental edge; he possesses the most destructive spirit, the Spirit of Fire. This is obviously not good for Youko, who uses plants (albeit demonic, deadly, and powerful) as his primary source of fighting.

I'd say Youko and Lyserg have approximately equal speed (neither have really shown speed feats because their style of fighting doesn't center around it. And I'm not a big fan of the "scaling" thing, so please don't use it in the case of speed here).

Also, this is something I found interesting. I'm sure that Spirit Energy does not equal Furyoku, but they are measures of spirit. Even if their numerical values may be measured differently, I think it's intriguing that Lyserg and Youko actually have similar correlations in the concept of spirit power. This is just a theory, but since their energy levels were so close I wanted to include them in the speculation (but more spirit energy does not necessarily mean he would win the fight).

Lyserg Diethel: 170,000


So... Who do you think will win?
 
That calculator only calculated demon energy, but it was really inconsistant compared to other numbers we're given in 3 kings (Like the 3 rulers charts shown to Kurama), so I tend to just ignore it.

But why is everyone avoiding answering the question? Is it too difficult and would people rather post in threads where they can say "LOL RAPESTOMP" instead? :pek

Never seen shaman before so I don't know.
 
lyserg beats him out in strength speed and durability
Kurama beats him out in intelligence by more then a little

Lyserg should be able to win this if he pushes the pace before kurama pulls out some uber hack plant
 
This fight is too evenly matched to really call. If this is Lyserg with wthe Spirit of Fire and end of series Youko.

But I think I'll have to go with Youko since he's dealt with people with similar fire power and won before. Where as Lyserg hasn't really fought anyone smarter than himself.

And that may be true, but how can Youko defend against this?:

Umm.. Well to begin Kurama never reaches S or S+ class. He was merely a S- class. Still beating Kurama would take a lot as his intelligent seems to make up for his lack of power. However! just to point somethings out. Yusuke at C+ class destorys a mountain with his reigun. When he shot it at Toguro in the beginning of his fight he didn't have his spirit cuffs off. Toguro tanks this attack like it was nothing. Just to put things in prespective all the B+ classes in the makai could fight one A- class and lose. A high A+ class is strong enough to destory an entire country. A-II level threat in YYH is the destruction of a country. The SDF didn't even know that S class demons existed. Now if this isn't enough S class demons are considered infinitely times stronger than a A class demon. In fact, Sensui was so powerful that he said the human plane could not contain half of his power. Sensui was only S- class when he stated this! Plane=Universe if your wondering. Anyways, another feat by Sensui was destorying the Beheaded Plateau with one punch. This Plateau contained Mountain ranges as insignificant specks.

Kurama as a human was S- at his very highest point; Youko was S+ (he was A+ before in the Dark Tournament). And I doubt A+ demons are strong enough to destroy a large country (maybe small ones like Japan alone...).

Anyway... What is the relevance of your point? Youko Kurama is far smarter than Lyserg (and Youko has not shown particularly great strength, only cunning and speed), but Lyserg has the advantage in almost everything else.

Anyways no one knows if they were only referring to Japan. They said destruction of an entire country possible.

According to the manga A class are supposed to be on the level of some religion's gods, so I'd think they could destroy more than a country.

The demon calculator tells us nothing about demon classes. In fact, S- and S+ are fan-made terms (Though they're good for descriptions of power)
