Overpowered much? If it really can deflect anything that is.. I think it'd die to kn4 blast though.. we can only speculate though..:pek
 
yea it seems invincible,to all attack.maybe you can fight it,but you need a spirit summon on the lv of susanoo-speculation.
 
Those title mean nothing untill you put them to the test.
Only thing they deflected was a bunch kunai explosives.
That's NOT a proper test.
If it was actually hit by KN4, Kusanagi or FRS we could give proper judgement.

Right now it's an empty title.

Itachi prime is invincible.

Even Zetsu agree and he's seen Pein fight, Itachi>>Pein. 100% Confirmed.

When. Orochimaru never got a chance to use Kusanagi no Tsurugi against it.
He still had the Kusanagi in his hand when he was sucked in by the Totsuka sword. He never got a chance to use it.

ofcourse I could be wrong, but you'd have to convince me :amuse

Sasuke used it this chapter. Though you could debate about whether his Kusanagi and Oro's Kusanagi have any similar properties.
 
Just noticed that Susano'o is wearing a mask. That explains these eyes in the mouth, so I wonder how he really looks like.

he talked about the technique.also we dont know the capacity of peins power and the rinnegan.for all we know it can use spirit summons as well.
especially with the myth that surounds the rinnegan.

It didn't JUST block the kunai explosives it blocked Kirin too. It's a massively powerful defence. It's attack is also pretty broken.

Zetsu was in awe of the whole thing. Then again Zetsu is more or less and Uhihatard throughout the entire fight.

They don't. Oro's was described as tougher than even diamond (which hypes KN4 chakra shroud to godly levels) AND it can be extended.
Besides, even a shield of Iron can defelct a THROWN sword of diamond.
A proper test would ONLY be if Sasuke thrusts Kusanagi into the shield.

The Swords are clearly different though. Oro had the ability to control it from a distance with his fingers and extend it to immense lenghts.
I'd take Oro's Kusanagi over Sasuke's any day, which is not surprising since it's Oro's signature sword.

He didn't throw it. He jumped into the air and drove it full force into the shield.

really though sasuke did nothing impressive for susano shield to get hyped up so much. he threw some exploding kunais and tried to attack with the kusanagi but nothing.

at the VoTE the kyuubi chakra protected naruto with its shroud. i would say the kyuubi shield looks more impressive than this.

Considering the point of Zetsu's statement was to hype it, the point that it's extremely powerful should at least get across.

Where was it described as tougher than diamond?

I've posted about this many times, but the technique Orochimaru used to control it from a (close-range)distance was Kuu no Tachi, a B-Rank Ninjutsu. Extending the blade, and transforming the sword into a Snake are also likely techniques that Orochimaru uses on the blade, rather than unique characteristics of it.

It's also implied that, like Orochimaru's Kusanagi no Tsurigi, Sasuke's has an incredibly sharp edge. And there's also the matter of the Totsuka no Tsurigi possibly being a Kusanagi imbued with Fuuin Jutsu, which may indicate that Orochimaru and Sasuke's blades are part of a line, and may share many traits.
 
Itachi to me is still top three most powerful badass in narutoverse.....


Only madara and possibly pein can take on Itachi.

I can't see pein annihialating Itachi but with the extra bodies he can definitely outlast him like Sasuke did.

Madara can probably physically kill Itachi being that Madara was his mentor.
