WTF zetsu keeps peeking and not helping his comrade itachi?? whats wrong with Akatsuki??

Kisame seem to be the only loyal comrade in the entire Akatsuki.

It's been shown before when other members died that few Akatsuki give a rats ass about what happens to any of the others except perhaps their own partners.

There's also the possibility that Zetsu is under the orders of Pain or Madara not to interfere with the fight.
 
That's why they fail. Pain should have thrown a few parties in the hideout, let his emloyees know each other better and resolve old quarrels...then they would be a happy family and no one would defeat them.
 
For starters, he thought Itachi would have the eyes until Itachi passed out.

And maybe he is similar to Kisame in that he have the common decency not to interupt a personal fight between siblings.
 
What do you expect? Madara was the one the created Akatsuki, so it's no surprise that they let there members die. All his plans always seems to fail in the end. Akatsuki is no different.

Option 1: There's that, and there's the fact that Madara probably wants the fight between the brothers to go uninterrupted.

Option 2: Maybe it's just Zetsu being retarded. B He was present during VoTE, where Sasuke and Naruto could have KILLED each other, and he did nothing.

Option 3: Zetsu is too weak to make a difference, and is strictly the recon/scout man for Akatsuki.
 
I doubt Zetsu is just a recon and scout person, even if you're just a recon and scout person, your ability to hide and speed must help you fight.
 
he's a voyeur, and voyeurs don't participate...they just silently watch :LOS or in this case, not so silently with the all the convos between the two personalities :LOS
 
Why on earth would Zetsu help Itachi?
This is Akatsuki, not your local football team.
Zetsu answers to Madara, not Itachi. He is probably shocked about the outcome, but why would he care? He's a plant for God's sake. Interfering with this fight would go against Madara's wishes, who I presume wanted Sasuke to win.
 
Im over it already,i thought about it,the only people in Akatsuki that actually give a rats ass about its goals is pein and madara,hell i would'nt interfere if i was Zets! guess he just wants some grub!
 
Everyone in Akatsuki are self interested actors, they do things for themselves. Perhaps it is in Zetsu's interest to be an observer. Even more so, Itachi is finally down, along with some of the other strongest fighters, for the count and the villages are now aware of their existence. It would probably be in Zetsu's to pack his bags.
