And then it gives you a fatal heart attack after 5 minutes!
 
The fact that Itachi used it while he was already approaching his limits may have had a lot to do with that.
 
He was already at his limit. That's what caused him to keel over.

But it was activated for way less than five minutes.

Two mins at most.

This fight has been going on less than ten mins anyway, Itachi genjutsu plot expedition excluded.

Does seems in keeping with Kishi Swansong mentality though. What better way for Itachi to go out than knowing he had such a jutsu?
 
They made it pretty broken though. Invulnerable to attack and then has some ludicrous attack of it's own that seasl you in genjutsu if it doesn't kill you with the sheer size of the sword.

Invincible in Zetsu's words.
 
just like it was said before, Itachi was already tired from a huge and exhausting battle, maybe that's what it made him colapse, plus he is using A GOD, of course it doens't suck and of course it takes lots of risks. Remeber that warrior who fight a nine tails fox demon, Yondaime Hokage, he also used A GOD and ended up dying. Itachi is doing the samething. Invencible and then... Welcome to Valhalla.

Common sense has no place in threads such as this. You should have been able to tell this was a bait thread.

Still though, you are correct (obviously).
 
His fatal mistake was trying to seal Orochimaru, and ultimately having Orochimaru eating Susano'o from inside.

Orochimaru owned Susano'o.
 
The move was nearly comparable to Minato's Shinigami summon. Its sealing is seemingly less permanent, I'd expect both are inescapable in most circumstances but the shinigami's stomach seems more permanent than a bottle even if they are both practically eternal, but it gives you better defense. So the price will probably be comparable as well.

the only reason itachi didnt won is becouse he forgot his magic cloack and magic hat.

with does he really is invincible
 
It can do all that.

But it won't give you CPR.

Therefore, it sucks.

Should've used more kunai imo.

Susano-o seems like a life sucking version of a boss summon >_>. Which could probably survive a massive attack from the sky and protect you (depending on the summon), then fight for you.

Kinda cool but counterproductive in the end, though it was probably because Itachi was already spent in the battle. Perhaps we haven't seen the peak of it.
 
its the lamest tecnic ever........you cant have a cool tecnica that involves a magic sword and a magic shield....you just dont.....
 
Imagine an RPG, and this spell (Susano-o) is freaking badass, but it requires alot of MP and HP to use it
Imagine that you get EMS. The spell only consumes a bit of MP.

Itachi had access to it, but it wasn't a very wise option to use it without the EMS me thinks
