It just kind of seems to be awhile since Smoker saw the SH and since they are heading for the Red Line they might meet Smoker (with more stronger marines:amazed aside from Tashigi) well at least i hope so:nuts

smoker being a logia makes the SH not having a chance

he said he would crush them in the new world so they are bound to meet again

i think in impel down they will meet all sorts of old villains along with buggy who isnt trapped so it could like one crew member vs one past villain
 
I do hope Smoker and Tashigi turn up soon, complete with roshiki (or at least soru and maybe geppou) learned along with some other new tricks so they can keep up with the SH and current enemies.

rokushiki isnt such a basic thing to have like nen in HxH

they can still develop their skills and being stronger than the cp9 without having rokushiki

We never saw Smoker go all out, in every instance where he encountered the Strawhats he either easily restrained them or they ran away.

He'll probably face the Strawhats sometime in the New World (as Smoker himself stated.)
 
Smoker is gathering the Bizarro Straw Hats. He's going to have a crew of marines working with him who all mirror or relate to a member of the Straw Hats:
  • Smoker, the Devil Fruit using leader,
  • Tashigi, the swordswoman who looks like Zoro's childhood friend,
  • Jango, the hypnotist, or rather a former opponent of Usopp's who fights with "lies",
  • Fullbody, a former opponent of Sanji's and a fighter with a style based around punching.
And there's also Hina, who doesn't have a clear counterpart, but it's probably Robin since you can see their DFs as being opposites, in a way, and they were introduced at basically the same time.

It's hard to say who the Bizarro Nami, Chopper, Franky and Brooke would be, but for Franky it'll probably be another cyborg and for Brooke I wouldn't be surprised if it was T-Bone, since he's a swordsman who looks like a zombie. It would make sense if the Bizarro Nami were a Fishman, too, but that might not happen now that Hachi has reappeared.

Good point lol. Now that you mention it, he's done some less-than-legal things too, like the Dance Powder at the end of the Alabasta arc, and the whole "letting the SHs go just because they saved his life" thing.

Why wouldn't Smoker have a chance against the current Strawhat Crew exactly? Has he been beaten in a fight? No. He fought equally with Ace, someone who is still stronger the Luffy.

And he's probably gotten a fuckload stronger since the last time we saw him barring the SH break out from Enies Lobby in the past couple hundred chapters.

And Luffy is Smoker's goal, so he isn't getting "stomped" if he's waiting for them in the New World.

Common sense people, dig it.

That's actually a really badass idea.

Oh and Smoker can probably stomp the SH. Though come to think of it Sanji might be able to fight him with Diable Jamble since fire seems to be a counter to Smoker's smoke.
 
why would smoker be way stronger now? it makes sense for younger or weak characters to power up over time, especially when they're influenced by luffy, but smoker? i really think he is just a side character. considering the strawhats are going to have to fight and win agasint vice admirals and ultimately admirals, if a commodore really stops them that doesnt make sense, unless you think smoker can defeat both crocodile, lucci and moria? which seems highly unlikely. i'm pretty sure combining gears smashes smoker's DF somehow (one piece logic is obviously subject to oda's whims)
 
I really dig Wrath's theory, and I hope we see him within the next 3 arcs.

Fire vs Smoke was already established...Ace and Smoker ended up in a duel. And Ace >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sanji.

Diamblo Jambe isn't doing anything.
 
50/50 with him having a large role, my bet is that we see him in one or two page rant on how he's going to take out Luffy.

Yes, I do think he could beat all of them. Especially lucci, he wouldn't be able to touch him.

Logia Fruits themselves aren't dumb, but the lesser ones like Smoker's and Crocodile's are way cooler than the greater ones like Ace's and Aokiji's.

Now, giving a Straw Hat a Logia, that would be dumb.
