Who Was/Is the Best Hokage?

There is alot of debate about who waas the best and/or most significant hokage so plz express your viewpoint as i am curious... personally it would have to be the shodaime hokage for me as he helped found konoha and defeated madara and his EMS.
 
Well,,Shodai accomplished the most, forming Konoha and all. But the 4th is the strongest:)
 
The best Hokage is the one that started Konoha The 1st. Without him there might not have been any Hokages.
 
significant - definately the 1st. he formed the village and he fought off mandara

best - its a toss up between the 4th and the 3rd. this is what i believe. the 3rd was thes strongest hokage of all. but 4th had more potential and if he had a couple of years he would have suprassed the 3rd.

best looking - minato handles down

coolest looking - the 2nd hokage. that headband and fur is so badass. hes the only shinobi in the naruto verse that could produce water from the air. (kisame did a jutsu to produce water)
 
So far, the 1st Hokage seemed the strongest, since he defeated Mandara at his prime and the 4th Hokage died and the first Hokage was the only Hokage that can pary all of the powers of the tailed beast(including Kyuubi.) If seem if 1st Hokage was still alive, the 4th Hokage wouldn't have to died because Shodai could of took on Kyuubi without having to sacrifice.
 
All of the hokage's excelled in their respective fields and accomplished stellar achievements.

Shodai created Konoha and merged a people's together and built an empire. He defeated the evil tyranny of Madara and allowed Madara's descendants to grow outside of the evil shroud surrounding their kekkei genkai.

Nidaime developed the milatary might of Konoha along with founding the Shinobi Academy.

Sandaime carried on the legacy of his mentors and is the shinobi most associated with "the Will of Fire". He surely has done more in the 60 or so years he spent as the leader of Konoha.

Minato saved Konoha from a disaster by thwarting Uchiha Madara's plan. If not for Yondaime the whole Narutoverse would be in terror of Akatsuki. Not to mention he singlehandedly assured victory for their side during thw Third and last of the Great Shinobi Wars.

Tsunade has done nothing.
 
Best is a extensive term.

At beating Uchiha pets, Shodai.

At looking good, Minato and Nidaime.

At GARing the world, flying monkey.
 
^Not only did Shodai render the Kyubi insignificant, he kicked the shit out of Madara Prime too :zaru
 
I think Shodai is probably the best Hokage since he created Konoha and all of the other crap, but i agree that the 4th was the strongest...
 
shodai: able to control biju's, mokuton (only one who can use it with yamato) founded konoha, impressive feats but not that cool in my book.
nidaime: brother of shodai, very good with water element. I think he is the coolest hokage because of his water element and because of his appearence @oro VS sandaime
Sandaime: old geezer, dont like him that much as a character, though I think he is the strongest as seeing him battle orochimaru
Yondaime: Very impressive, youngest hokage so far(?), very cool jutsu (hiraishin) and I really like his design alot.
Godaime: Don't like her at all, not even her looks -,-

for me Nidaime and Yondaime are nr1 and 2 but when it comes to facts and who is the strongest I have to go with sandaime

Well, it's hard to judge since we've only since the Shodai, Nidaime, and Yondaime very briefly (I mean we know almost nothing about the Nidaime).

Still, I'd say the Yondaime. He gave up everything, his life and his only son's future, to save Konoha. Moreover, if it wasn't for him Konoha may not have defeated Stone. I just love him. ;)

Then the Shodai, since he was able to defeat Madara and he did found the village. Plus, his Kekkai Genkai is awesome.
 
Shodai, Minato & Sarutobi are all tied...they all have done amazing things and have all saved the village...there is no point in arguing this...they were all top tier

They call Minato the "Yellow Flash" but they haven't seen anything yet.

Minato starts casting his jutsu, and Tsunade just lifts up her top. Kills Minato while he is awestruck.

Gentlemen, there is a new "flash" in town.
 
Lol, the Nidaime hardly gets any love

I say Shodai:noworry. He is the greatest Hokage for the same reason as to why Washington was greater than John Adams IMO.

Though the manga probably will say Yondaime, since Naruto is trying to surpass him in order to become the greatest Hokage.
 
Anyone but Niidaime he's a fuckin fodder!!!But i say Yondy give him a couple of yrs and he would easily has passed Saru they said he was the strongest ninja produced in Konoha. Thanks Jiraiya!!!Rest In Peace J-man!

Yeah, that is several different debates in one thread.

If you are talking strongest, well that is one of the most back-and-forth trolling threads you can make.

But in terms of Significance, it would have to be the 1st, afterall he founded the country.

But in terms of who I think the best leader was, I'd say Sarutobi.

Or, you could also ask who the most attractive one is, and I think we can all agree on that one :wink
