Who do you think is the smartest in the Sound 4?

Who do you think is the smartest in the Sound 4? maybe its Kidoumaru.... you decide.

for me its Kidoumaru because in their fight between Neji and him Kidoumaru knew the blind spot of Neji's Byakugan

I would say probally Sakon, he seemed to know quite a lot :amuse

^Though what you said about Kidoumaru is pretty interesting to :)

From the Sasuke Rescue Arc, to many it does not appear that Ukon was the smartest.

According to the databooks, Kidomaru has the highest intelligence, followed by Ukon, then Tayuya, then Kimimmaro, then Sakon, lastly Jiroubo. But it really depends on your definition of smartest. As intelligence is not always the same as being the smartest.
 
Kidoumaru, mostly a matter of watching his strategic mind in plan and hearing Orochimaru and Kabuto talk about how Kidoumaru enjoyed playing with his prey because of that.

@Hiroshi: Oh? Ukon's the second most intelligent? I was thinking it would be Tayuya. Now I'm even more curious about Ukon. Barely saw anything from him. I guess the using Kiba's jacket bit was Ukon's idea. And it does make sense that he would be intelligent considering how he has to devise a way to get to his enemies and eliminate the necessary organs. Considering Sakon's temper and all, seems like Ukon would do the thinking for the both of them considering how he was the one to tell Sakon to stop messing with Kiba.

Yes, I was slightly surprised as well. Ukon is slightly higher than Tayuya as his intelligence is at 3.5 while Tayuya's is at 3 according to the databooks. After finding this out, I looked more deeply in the Sasuke Rescue arc to see evidence of such.
 
I say Kidomaru. For me, he was the most capable one in comming up with effective tactics to use on his opponent. He came up with new ideas and figured out Neji's blind spot so I think he was the most impressive one . . . :amuse
 
well Kidomaru is preety smart, then kimmimaru*not sure spelling* then sakon and tayuya and then the other guy *don't remember name*
 
Kidoumaru, for reasons already stated...

Then Tayuya. Why? Because of the complexity of her techniques. During her summoning, she had to use a song on a flute to direct three beings around to attack a hiding target, which would take incredible skill. Unfortunately, she got caught up in the fight and her own powerful jutsu that she got in over her head.
 
It's a close call between Kidoumaru and Tayuya, but given Kido's strategy I'll give it to him. Tayuya is nothing to snear at though. To be thought of so highly for your intellect by Shikamaru is a complement indeed.

In my opinion it seems to be Kidoumaro, at least according to the battles that occurred and their respective development, to be able to discover the blind spot of the byakugan i think it's quite remarkable.
