Where is Nanao-chan?

Ever since the episode where she got owned by reiatsu alone,ive been waiting for her to redeem herself and ive also wanted to see her soul slayer,it looks like it might be very unique.from the last frame in 314 we see she's not in Karakura town,does anyone else think she is getting unjustly screwed for panel time?
 
My guess is they had to leave someone in Soul Society, plus I imagine not to many of the VC's can do much alone so they will fight with their Captain. Problem with this for Nanao is that Ukitake and Kyouraku are the super fighting duo so theres nowhere really for her to go so...

Plot Reason: Protecting Soul Society
Real Reason: No use...

People like to rag on her, but remember her words before she got raped. She was gonna do something against Yamamoto, so she does have some abilities. Plus in the games shes got a pretty nifty fighting style.

damn! should have left hitsu in SS he's had enough panel time, plus one captain has to be better then 3 or 4 VCs right?

Other than Kubo is fail, the only real reason I can think of is that Kyoraku ordered her to stay behind. He does care for her in his own perverted way and doesn't like seeing her get hurt.

But I like Frostman's reasons best.
 
Who the fuck cares? What's she gonna do? Drop rose petals. This is war people. Have your favorite VCs show up and guess what, they're fodder for TAG or Yammy Food.

i also wondered where she may be when she wasn't in the double spread. Guess she got left out of this arc like yammy has for the last 2 arcs
