Where do you place Sasuke in the top tier Akatsuki list?

Lets say Sasuke was in Akatsuki. Where do you place him, as far as weakest to strongest, including Orochimaru? This is my list....

1.Madara
2.Pein
3.Itachi
4.Kakuzu
5.Orochimaru
6.Sasuke
7.Kisame
8.Sasori
9.Deidara
10.Konan

That's my list. I didnt add Zetsu because we dont know anything about him. Of course, all these guys are chumps compared to Jiraiya....

Its hard to do this because each member has strengths against another.
For example, I'm fairly sure Sasori would beat Sasuke but lose to like Kakuzu. But I am also fairly sure that Deidara could beat Kakuzu while Sasori could beat Dei.

Thats what really stops me from saying anything. Also Konan never got her moment, she used one attack then was somped by Jariyia who had probably seen it hundreds of times before, and then she was horribly overshadowed by Pein..who I do think could beat Madara (if both Kages of the leaf beat him and he seems weaker now, I have serious problems thinking that Pein who has a type of anti eye-doujutsu technique would lose. He takes commands because he wants something that Madara in age and experiance can grant him)
 
After really giving this some thought, here's my new and improved list...

Im starting to believe that Sasuke is actually on equal footing with Itachi.

Since i belive sasuke will kill itachi i say their either even or sasuke is stronger
 
~-Pain's cannot be beaten unless you know his secret. This makes him endlessly strong. If you however know his secret he might be weakest in Akatsuki.

In my opinion

8-Kakuzu
9-Hidan

Konan and Zetzu, should not be placed
 
First things first, give me the name of the hoe in your sig.

Anyway, I place him below Konan but above Madara so that puts him at like 11.

Firstly, Tobi is extremely good, but not the best. Pein is 6 people all at once. well 5 right now. But i bet that he could get another one. Itachi said that Madara is much weaker than he should be. And then is Konan. We only saw her for like a second. But notice that she is never made fun of. No one says anything to her, except Pein and Tobi. Pein shows her an extreme amount of respect, not just because she's his only true friend. Zetsu can go into any solid at extreme speeds. Faster than anybody who is running. It's like when Byakugan locates people, except Zetsu isn't just looking there from a distance, he's actually there. He can just piss people off and waste their chakra, then move in for the kill. Then of course it's Itachi. The I'd say it's Kisame. He has the largest reservoir of chakra, even more than Pein or Tobi. That means that he can afford to completely spam up attacks as large and powerful as Raikiri and still have more chakra than his opponents. For those of u who play Guild Wars, he is basically a nuker elementalist but with water. Then Sasuke. If he wins this battle, it's because he is just lucky or something. Well he's screwed anyways. Then Orochimaru. If Oro comes to take Sasuke's body again, Sasuke can unleash that huge Cerberus Bird Tengu thing and eat his soul and send it to hell. Then the rest.
One thing to consider is that Hidan isn't deceased. He's just trapped and has no way of getting out. If anyone finds him, those guys r screwed because we never fully saw Hidan's ritual.

actually, if Zetsu traps someone, since he's a venus fly trap, can't he just eat them alive? that would kinda suck for whoever's an entree for a plant with a racially segregated human inside who has a split personality.

Sorry, Sasuke isn't so elite. He's better than Hiddan, who basically haxxed out his one ability. But otherwise... no. He's not the creme de la creme of fighters that is Akatsuki.

Sasuke has shown himself to be ridiculously powerful, but the Akatsuki are unto the gods themselves.

These are the guys who have 3-5 Kirin - level moves each. Sorry, putting Sasuke higher than more than one or two people is either fanboyism or not remembering how uver these guys are. Period

and now he is fighting on par with the third (posibly the second) strongest guy in akatsuki and u still say he is not elite :huh. but now that i look back ur whole list is fucked up lol itach > deidara, saori number 2 orochimaru number three lol....i mean really did u not read the latest chapter where itachi pwned oro in less then three seconds, did u not see deidara's flashback where itachi pwned him in 1 seconed,did u not see sasori get pwned by a lil girl who has only been in two real fights and old lady who is way past her prime ?????

Sasuke already defeated one of them (Deidara). And now he showed is nearly on par with one of the strongest members: Itachi. (Hell.. before Susano, Sasuke had the upperhand the whole fight)

Please tell me what are those moves on par with Kirin.

Sorry. From the akatsuki has fought none of them except Deidara's C3 and C4 or Itachi's MS jutsus none akatsuki has showed moves on par with Kirin that leveled a whole fucking mountain.

Pain is an exception because he hasn't show yet his full power.
 
Why are people putting Madara 1st even though we have never seen him fight? Obviously he's strong, but I can't imagine him standing up to Susanno'o or Pein's 6 bodies.

Deidara (did it)
Hidan
Kakuzu (im not sure for this, since i dont know is he good vs genjutsu)

Answer should be pretty obvious:

-Pein takes orders from Madara
-Itachi basically came out and said Madara is superior to him


And wow, some of you people putting Deidara ahead of Sasuke. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.
