What will Naruto turn into?

Masashi Kishimoto said in an interview that Naruto has to grow up, this was also one of the reasons Jiraiya had to "die". What do you think that he will become?
Will he still be the same determined person with the power to change people or will he accept that he can't save everyone and turn into a new sad cold character, that has to be saved for once by everyone?
 
He will want revenge and train so hard to kill AL, meaning he will only get 100 times stronger.

sasuke will have to mate with one of the girls (sakura) in order to remake the uchiha clan so he'll be busy.
 
Kishi would just repeat the story with Sasuke,Naruto would go train for quite a whie to defeat Pain and avange Jiraya,nothing more to it.
 
I don't believe that his overall character will change much, he will still have that lovable charm.

Training, or a special arc, will most likely occur after the focus on Sasuke shifts in which Naruto will have something greater to strive for than simply the title Hokage. Instead he will be fighting for one of his friends and greatest influences, which can possibly make one stronger when considering Haku's statement.
 
The only thing that will change is his battle style and his strength other than that... we can expect the same old naruto, with some revenge in mind.
 
I don't think Naruto will change much. Rather, I think he will become more mature, but still have his goofy side, kinda like Jiraiya. Anyway, Jiraiya's death will effect Naruto greatly, and like I said, I think it will bring out a new mature side of Naruto, and maybe Naruto will have trouble with Kyuubi because of anger and such. I think Nartuo will finally grow up and face his challenges . . . :amuse

that is the way to grow for Naruto...

Minato was a pushover as Kakashi said and also a feared ninja better to run if you were about to face him. I would like Naruto to grow that way :)
 
He will become the person that Jiraiya envisioned in his stories--the person that Yondaime wanted him to be.
 
Personality-wise, I think he's already changed enough. I don't see Masashi Kishimoto getting rid of that heroic loser personality that he's been setting up all this time. What Jiraiya's death is going to do, I believe, is change his perspective about things. Perhaps he'll realize that stopping people like the Akatsuki has to come before his own wants and desires.

Turning into a sad cold character isn't who Naruto is. He always has a bright and light hearted person, and taking that way is equivalent to taking away the infrastructure of his character. He will just become wiser, smarter, and more understanding. If Sasuke doesn't return, Naruto will finally realize why because like Sasuke, he is going to feel the pain of loss and a need for vengeance.
 
Hopefully, he wont be as emotional when it comes to Sasuke.

We will probably see him alot more confident and calm about himself. And likely abit more independent from Kakashi and Yamato.

NAruto viewed Jiraiya as a father/grandfather figure, so I doubt that the news will be less emotional then when Sandaime or Asuma died.

I hope Naruto will become more focused and more determined then anything, and use his head more then his body.(He is improving right now, but it's still not enough)

True, but i spoke in the context of Sasuke, in other words that he won't sprout Tails just because someone says something negative about him.

No ones doubting tha he will be saddened when he gets the news about Jiraiya's death.
 
Yeah hopefully He will be more mature and independent(Team work still a focus)
After this key training(whatever the hell that really is) It would be nice if he would physically change!(if the key involves the nine tails and somehow morphs him)
A few more wind justsu's that don't invole the resangen would be ace!!

But I think he'll still be the same old Naruto, just more serious when it comes to his enemies. He won't just run in screaming anymore, he'll approach every situation like he did with Kakuzu.
 
well..thing is..he's being possessed by the Kyuubi, so we know one of the last battle will probably be something with Madara controlling Naruto because of his sharingan...so I dont think Naruto will change or anything, it's just gonna fuel his anger, but he's gonna be controlled by Madara, and Sasuke will have to do something against it..who knows? If "Naruto"(series) has grown up, we will probably see other main character die, like Neji and Kakashi xD and maybe Naruto at the end xD but thats only theories, so lets all share our thoughts with respect plz ;p
