What are the chances of Pain taking Itachi's body as his 6th body?

Imagine Itachi with the Rinnegan and piercings. He would look so fucking badass. Anyways let's say Pain passes around the scene and when Zetsu reports to him, he'll go to see Itachi's body. Pain will now have a genjutsu body since Itachi can cast genjutsu by merely pointing at you.

Why Itachi? Well we all know how much Naruto struggles to counter genjutsu so when Naruto battles Pain and faces this body it will show us how much Naruto has improved after his key power up.
 
Fairly small. All of Pein's bodies are supposed to have some connection with Jiraiya, and Itachi didn't seem particularly close to the guy.
 
but... why would he want itachi when he can have Jiraiya...

Someones gotta replace that summoning body.

The odds of pain already having a genjutsu body are decent since we haven't seen all the bodies in action.

plus, jiraiya is closet.
 
I doubt that Pein would want Itachi's body. What makes Itachi's body unique is ofcourse his eyes. If Pein uses Itachi's body, he would have to take Itachi's eyes out and replace them with Rinnegan eyes. So that would defeat the whole purpose of using Itachi's body to begin with. Besides, if Pein wants a six body Jiraiya's is very convenient at the moment.

No, but he stabbed Jiraiya and then just walked away until he noticed him stirring back to life. And the he just let him sink after blowing up the island with his rocketpunch.

Of course, there is the small chance that Pein still want Jiraiya's body, I guess. I mean...he's probably familiar with the city's piping system, so he know where the guy will end up.

People say Itachi doesn't have his eyes but does it really matter. With the Rinnegans vision plus the fact that he can cast Genjutsu by pointing is something.
 
Really low, his usefulness lies in his eyes and by Pein taking him over it become Rinnegan instead of sharingan thus eliminating his usefulness.
 
I doubt it.. pein seemingly has an obsession with jiraiya's foes etc.. itachi was never really jiraiya's opposition.
