You know I have been having some thoughts about Kyuubi, hermit mode, susanoo and Hydra. As we all know, the snake has been removed from Sasuke. No more White snake powers and of course we have the Death of Manda. Deidara and Itachi cut away the snake skin and left an egg, from this egg, a hawk shall be born.
Now here is Sasuke's rival, Naruto, represented by both the toad and the Fox. The fox has been a symbol for Naruto since day 1, in fact in the original Naruto Pilot, Naruto really was a fox. However, ever since the introduction of Hermit Mode, I have been wondering about how things are going to be in the final battle.
You see Jiraiya never perfected Hermit Mode. Ma and Pa asked Jiraiya why couldn't he use Hermit Mode on his own and he replied that compared to them, he was just a tad pole. Jiraiya never completed his "that Jutsu". It went uncompleted. Why would Kishi allow Jman to introduce an incomplete Jutsu in his final battle, so somebody else can complete it.
The fox, which has been a part of Naruto for so long has become a hindrance. The power of the Kyuubi is extreme and it is obvious that Naruto must master the powers, and show that he is worthy of such great responsibility. However he also has to prove he can fight without it.
Now how exactly will Naruto be able to get red of the Kyuubi. As we all know, Kakashi was watching Chiyo. There was a purpose and reason behind this. You see, Kakashi will be able to bring Naruto back to life after the Kyuubi has been extracted from him.
Just like Oro was pruned from Sasuke, the Kyuubi shall be pruned from Naruto.
After Naruto completes, "That Jutsu" and beats Pain, then is when the Bijuu will get extracted.
Jiraiya was more than just a sensei, he was Naruto's Godfather, he named Naruto, he has a similar personality to Naruto, he was the Sensei of Naruto's father, he traveled three years abroad with him.
Heck we all know, Minato was standing on Gamabunta's back, so far the only animal that has represented Minato is the Toad. The only person to truly be Gamabunta's master.
Naruto will be stripped of his Bijuu and what will be left, just the man and he will have to get his power the old fashioned way just like Jman and his Old Man.
By completing Hermit Mode without the help of Ma and Pa, Naruto will have surpassed his mentor. It also gives Naruto a power up to compensate for the loss of the Kyuubi.
The fox will be forced to shed its fur and toad will rise, son of Yondaime, Godson of Jiraiya.
In the final battle Sasuke will stand atop Susano and Naruto will stand atop Gamabunta.
Naruto will once again face insurmountable odds because Toad<Hawk, thus reestablishing him as underdog.
Who Knows, rather than Susanoo, Sasuke maybe standing atop Kyuubi while Naruto stands atop Gamabunta.
