It was said to be invincible by Zetzu and it hasn't been defeated.

The only hope now is if Madara or Sasuke gets Susano-o so we can finally see it defeated eventually. I pity the Manga battledome after this chapter.
 
We have no proof that Oro had anything to do with Itachi's collapse. I hoped we would see the white snake bite Itachi, but we didn't. Perhaps next chapter will do something to change the "invincibleness" of Susano-o.

Actually, Susano-O was never defeated. Nothing managed to get past its defense, and nothing managed to survive a direct hit from it. The only downfall is that Itachi wasn't strong enough to keep the jutsu up for very long.

Anyhow, it is sad for the manga battledome that Susanoo wasn't given a weakness other being apparently being a chakra/eyesight hog. Otherwise though, it doesn't matter. I doubt we'll see it again.
 
I'm sure the BattleDomers will have a field day with this one. Though I doubt we'll ever see it again. I'm pretty sure that was what Itachi planned on defeating Madara with.

Unless...Sasuke takes Itachi's eyes and is granted Itachi's MS abilities as well? I don't know, just throwing that out there. It'd be a shame to not see it again.

IMO that bottle is part of Susano'o, whatever is sucked inside becomes part of Susano'o. So the bottle didn't have to shake for Orochimaru to eat Susano'o from the inside.
 
I don't expect to see Susanoo again. Especially if the whole each MS user sees something different thing is true.

Pretty much.

Susanoo is a broken technique, but since we're just barely seeing it maybe once, it's not a big thing for the manga. It is a big thing for people who like to try to determine power-levels through mock-battles, however, since it throws everything out of sync.
 
^Susanoo is the actual summon who wields the spirit sword as well as the bottle to seal things in. He attacks for and defends Itachi as we saw when Orochimaru tried to use the Yamata no Orochi technique against him.
 
The main point is that the battledome is going to be worst than ever before now.

I can just see it now.

Itachi fan: Itachi is invincible thanks to Susano-o and thus cannot lose!
Others: No limits fallacy!

That's what's going to happen.
 
It's fucking hilarious. The fools who determine strength through hypothetical battles always said "it's gonna have a weakness, we'll find out what it is next chapter."

Maybe it'll knock some sense into them?
