The snake will go to Kabuto and give him uber strength of good fortune and rebirth in which orochimaru will be reborn

yeah. I guess it all depends on whether he is in condition of actually doing it right now.
 
Well, I don't see why Kishimoto would have Kabuto put Orochimaru's DNA inside of himself when Orochimaru was just going to assimilate himself into him anyway.

Let's look at his options..

Slither around untill he finds Kabuto..

Slither over to Itachi's body which is blind and passed out..

Slither over to Sasuke who is paralized out of fear, quivering with shit and piss running down his leg...

Hmm I'd choose Itachi.. But he'll probably choose Sasuke...
 
I also first thought of Kabuto after seeing the white snake slither away...but seriously I'm tired of Orochimaru surviving these insane jutsu's, first Sandaime, now Itachi's susanoo; KILL HIM KISHI

Yes, but those two have also made it pretty clear, one on more than one occasion, that they are too strong to be contained/overtaken by Orochimaru.

Assuming that white Snake really does represent a living part of Orochimaru's soul, it is time he cut his losses and settle on a consolation prize. And a medical genius with a portion of his DNA already amalgamated is probably a good target.

But does he slither away? First time we see it, it hides in the crack of a rock, and in the last picture, he simply went out of hiding and is going to the brothers...

Oh, and tell me if I'm wrong but there is two snakes that falls in the beginning of the chapter, right? Because we see only one after this, and I was wondering if I was mistaken somehow...

They can't even use the sharingan, they're virtually defenceless now. Oro is going towards the Uchiha if you look carefully.

^ ^ Yeah, he is. That's why I'm getting piss off about Oro now.

I think the white snake will be discover by Zetsu & he'll devour it along with Itachi's corpse.

OR

The white snake might slither all the way to Kabuto, where it will be absorb by him. Then, we see Kabuto & Oro talking to each other in Kabuto's mind or Oro's dimension. It would look like Oro is about to take over Kabuto's body completely, but Kabuto would suppress Oro's power more than Sasuke did by awakening his "old blood".
 
i was hoping it wouldnt be this way.

as i was really hoping kabuto would amount to something amazing himself, and not just a way for the same old orochimaru to cling to life, but after how things have gone its a possibility again.

i never considered kabuto just a straight up 'lackey' and to have him just to become orochimaru Mk 3 would be a waste. orochimaru is getting more tiresome and meddling than id like. i want to see a secondary character like kabuto expose his own goals and desires through a power-up, mainly cuz itd be fresh and new material...
