The Original Super Smash Bros.

I still remember the first day I played the original Smash Bros. It was my friend's birthday and everyone was doing free for all. I came, started playing as Pikachu and fucking pwnt. Been a Pikachu user ever since.
 
Lol i remember slating SSB on the N64 because I thought the graphics were crap only for my friend to give me the most serious look ever and shoving a controller in my face while saying "SERIOUSLY, JUST TRY IT." Been a Smash fan ever since smile-big
 
Ya, my friend loaned it to me, because I was saying "if I like a game" I can beat anyone at it, eventually. 5 months later after getting my ass handed to me many times, I was proven right. and We became even. 2 Months after that, I own him. Funny how that works....
 
It was indeed an awesome game. lol I remember how overpowered the throws were in that game.
 
I owned as Captain Falcoln.. but my sister was freakin pro at Kirby. Owned me many times. :cry
 
I still own the first smash bros. that shit is almost 10 years old man!!! if you played the origonal smash that means you are ten years older today! I remember the commertial that came out for it, where all the guys in suits are beating eachothers asses.

And ill never forget the time i reflected a fully charged samus beam right back at her FTW. ever since then im all about fox only.

Pikachu and Kirby were my mains back then. So much fun.Yeah I know tier whoring. XD
 
great game:grin I still have it for the N64 back home... Too bad that's on the other side of the globe..:arg I owned hard with Pikachu in that game :grin That game was actually my first introduction to Pokemon...:oh
 
The N64 version was so damn broken. Stupid Pikachu, Ness, and Kirby were insanely god tier and as always Link sucked ass, lol.
 
Gosh, I miss that game so much :cry. My idiot cousin lost it. Even with its few characters, few stages and dated graphics, it is, IMO, among one of the greatest games ever made.

I remember when I first saw it. I bugged my parents nonstop for it. Renting and re-renting it until they found out I'd never get tired of it and then bought it. Those were the days. I remember faking sick just so I could play it for hours on end. It definately was Epic!
 
Peach's Castle (not that gay ass shit in melee) and Hyrule Castle were epic. Link actually gave off the illusion of being pretty good, and the teaser commercial for this game is beyond words.

I like the original better than melee tbh.

Very epic indeed. Like everyone I remember my first time too. Friends house, just came out. We thought it would be fun from the commercials. We weren't expecting it to be one of the best games ever tho :nuts. I remember going pikachu and spamming down+b :p

Back when there were good levels that didn't rely on 1,001 environmental hazards. I still have yet to find one in Brawl/Melee as good as the original Hyrule or DK levels.
 
@ Shirker.. Agreed. thats like the exact same thing I did too.. :thumbs Except I still have the game.. lol Lucky me.

Apparently like alot of other people, I used Pikachu too lol.. Played the game to death. I had like over 5000 kills on Jigglypuffs, because I hated it for making it in before other characters. I always did Team matches, me against 3 lvl. 1 Jiggs with only home run bats and hearts set on very high.. lol.

I didn't know the definition of tiers or noob characters back then.. lol. Good times.
