Team Tournament Round 4 Battle 1

This battle takes place in Limbo from Dungeons and Dragons.
The teams are 1000 miles from each other, with Demon Overlord Priere in the northwest and Ukoku being in the southeast, relative to each other.

The Slaad will be around Limbo as usual and will, if provoked, attack their enemy.

They will, like all Outsiders, come back a short time after they have died.
They will have all memories intact, and will not be under the effect of anything they were under before they died.

Gentlemen, start the battle, now.
 
I thought it might be fun for all those involved to know that Limbo is literally shaped by people's beliefs. If you've got a team members who has enough will power you can literally alter the very nature of the area around you to suit your needs simply by wishing it to be so. Want the ground to go away. Simply doubt hard enough the existence of the ground you walk on and it'll go away.

Lol this is exactly what the slayers astral plain is like every thing that exists there is defined by there thoughts and will power this is going to be fun nice choose of battle field Ax :amuse
 
Well you might also like to know that this is D&D Planescape Multiverse. Theoretically you can also find portals that lead to every other plane in D&D including the Astral Plane, which in D&D multi-verse is a made up of the collective dreams of everyone in the Multiverse. You could also take portals to your own dimensions, provided that you can find them. In D&D all settings of all types can exist within Planescape, including the ones your characters come from.

The hard part will be finding, and reaching those portals. Also keep in mind that such D&D items like Bags of Holding, which is a bag that contains a pocket universe, are likely available (size of the universe may very though).
 
yeah but if you have no affinity of a balancing traid like the monavic devas, some planes may kill you in seconds. (I would dare Prini team to end on the positive plane, or the arbore, celestia, etc.) :p. Also a lot and I mean a lot of outsiders are out there, some who have really foul characters. I would love to see Azmodeus get on the middle of this fight and kick some butt... sadly there is Xelloss in dnd universe and he is a CR 35... (creepy he is higher than even Azmodeus).
 
That is just the thing the true Asmodeus uses to deal with lesser beings, you know.
I'd imagine the real Asmodeus is far above his stats in regular DnD.
Most likely, it is along the lines of Dicefreaks stats.

What is Xellos alignment is it chaotic evil? and how strong would CR55 make Hellmaster could he stomp the avarage epic party
 
Yes even me and some friends discuss that he should be LE, but all mazoku are CE by definition.

I see How strong would CR55 make Hellmaster could he stomp the average Epic level party?

Oh and doe's he get instant death spell and what is it's saving throws when used

Well Acording to the book he have a death efeeect will dc 48, a mazoku ray that deals 25d12 with reflex for half 48.

Also he have 25 lvl of sorcerer, as Xelloss and Phibi doesnt have any equipment with them(nor spells on their spell list as this is up to the GM)., because in slayers equipment its rarely used, and at best its MS, with the count exception of Goru Nova. Let me finish eating and I would type Goru Nova stats.

At the start of the book theres a rule that if you plan to use this characters on a dnd normal setting you need to get them equipment, problaly a 30 epic party can take down hellmaster with equipment.

Hell, give me prep and I can beat one of those with around 23-24 HD, if need be.
With Epic spells, of course, but the point still stands...

Second of all, does anyone know where Ukoku is?
I'd like to start this battle soon.

Thats why I said this setting its set on a low magic items everioment. Also Both Xelloss and Hellmasters are sorceress on their own. ^^ its not that easy. More when you see all mazoku have magic manipulation on their traits. Anyways Goru Nova.

+6 ghost touch long sword. On command its adds the charisma bonus to attack and damage rolls in addition to its +6 enhancement bonus. It can absorb or reflect spells with a reflex of 20+spell lvl. Demon blood talisman: +20 on all ST and concentration checks. (they remain active just for 5 rounds a day).

I admit this chracters would die to a epic characters, but that means using epic spells its like the god characters, they are mean to be compared to normal characters not epic ones... of course nothing that a good GM cant fix (rub hands).

nice so doe's this book have every character in it such as Kanzel and seigrim? and doe's it have generic monsters like lesser demons.

Ukoku Sanzo

Ten seconds

Everyone gets acquainted with each others power and how it works. This is done by Cornelia opening a telepatchic link between everyone, and letting them share their information with everyone while not having to stay in the same spot talking this over. This saves time, and allow other things to get done while she's doing this. She keeps this link up for as long as it is needed.

You already know why I feel this is important. This shouldn't take ten seconds to start up, and again, this last for as long as she desires (if people leave and return, she opens the link with them again, continually sharing new information)

Twentieth second-First minute

Luc is intrigued at Cornelia's ability of invisibility. So while this link is open, they talk about it. Also, while the link is open, Ukoku ask everyone to run down the list of things they think would be beneficial to the fight from their verse.

First Minute

Ukoku unlocks Cornelia's potential (evolved powers and teleportation) and ask her to grab the Heart,The Seal of Phobos and Tooth of Tonga. Since she knows the people who have this, this shouldn't take too long. Once she returns, Ukoku have her hand it to those who've not demonstrated cross-dimension teleporting (Fei, Luc, and Bindt). Everyone teleports to their verse except Luc and Cornelia (Ukoku is going to return to Luc's verse with him)

P.S. During the wait for Cornelia, Ukoku starts to read in on the other teams preemptively and talk with the ones here about it.

Second-Third Minute

Luc and Cornelia teaches each other their patent wind ability (Luc learns invisibility, Cornelia learns oxygen removal/vacuum) while the others are acquiring what they need.

Fei gets Weltall (note: massively weaker than Xenogears. I'm talking not even .33336 its power), about 10 or so firearms, and some battle armor. All this can be gotten from base, from the people he know (he knows the Queen of Shevat).

Ukoku gets the soul gourde and the three other sutras (Seiten, Kouten, and Maten). He gets Seiten and Kouten from Koushu, the person he's working for, and he steals the Maten from Sanzo (which should be easy since he's pwning the hell out of him in a current chapter).

Bindt grabs him a few of those rifles that can even harm a Rynax. Easily obtained from the base that he lives at.

All return afterward. If anything, add an extra minute to that

Fourth-Seventh Minute
Once everyone's back, Ukoku sends Cornelia, along with Bindt, to her world again. She will now work to acquire Horn of Hypnos, Mage Ring and Seal of Nerissa . Since it would have been difficult for her to acquire the Seal on her own, this is why Bindt is with her. With Bindt, it shouldn't take a minute to acquire those.

Luc and Ukoku goes to Luc's world. Luc first grabs the orb that allows him to hold multiple true runes. This shouldn't take no longer than 10 seconds given that it is his (in truth, should I even need to grab it? Wouldn't that be like standard equip?). Ukoku uses his clairvoyance to find the exact person and/or rune Luc wants. For this fight, he desires the Sovereign, Blue Moon, the two halves of the Gate, Water, Viki's Blinking and Sun so they teleport to the intended places and get it (since Ukoku is with him, it's twice as easy to steal, if need be). And so as not to make people think that this takes longer than the intended time, here is an explanation for each rune and how acquisition is made within the time limit:

Sovereign: Last seen on Barbarossa. Since he did a suicide dive, the rune and his whereabouts are unknown. This is, again, why Ukoku is with him. Whether dead or alive, acquisition shouldn't take more than 10 or so seconds (high level porting, paralysis (if needed), Luc removes rune (if needed), leave for next
Blue Moon: The rune is always left in the center of the Blue Moon village. Since it was easy for Neclord to steal it, it should be doubly easy for Luc and Ukoku to steal. I won't even think 5 seconds is needed in the thievery.
Front Gate: See Sovereign, except add Windy. Half runes can't stand up to full runes, so it should be quite easy if Windy is still alive.
Back Gate: I have a video showing how Leknaat can't stop Luc even if she wants to. Luc knows where she lives, so he can easily steal it
Water: Last seen in Chris hands. She didn't master the rune by the end of the gate, so taking it from her should be easy (32 years mastery of his rune and Ukoku by his side)
Viki's Blinking: Probably the hardest to get since the ditz likes to mistakenly port herself about. Good thing there's alway a Viki within the timeline, so getting it before a minute's pass shouldn't impossible.
Sun: Like the Blue Moon, it is left within the center of the castle in which it occupies. Easy to steal.

P.S. Oh yeah, and Luc knows everyone that either owns or knows of these runes. So giving Ukoku knowledge on where to look isn't unbelievable.


Eight-Eight-thirty

Everyone's gathered again, and the telepathic link is opened once again. New info is shared, Ukoku gives info to his team on what he acquired from the other.

Luc uses the Gate rune to mass summon spam (80k+), while adding his own Wincar into the mix. He gives Ukoku another idea and they decide to return to his verse.

While Luc and Ukoku is gone, Cornelia gives one of the "smarter" monster the "Seal of Nerissa", making him pretty much equal to Cornelia, with a little added bonuses. He'll be called Seth.

Cornelia ask Seth to help her glamour up as much people as they can before Ukoku and Luc returns. Glamour, in W.I.T.C.H. verse basically makes anything look likse something else. It could be another person, or an object. Done precisely, my whole team can look like flaura of the verse.

Eight-thiry-Nineth minute

Luc and Ukoku does a final rune raid. A quick one on a rune store, a kidnapping of a rune mistress, and thievery of the Star Dragon.

Final Minute

The link is open up once again, and information is passed around quickly.

Some other demons, by way of Corny and Seth (since they might be glamoured), are equipped with the weapon Fei and Bindt collected.

Cornelia and Seth glamour up anyone not glamoured into whatever I desire (during with whill be decided during battle... nothing that'll be tricksy). Weltall will be an important glamour; being glamoured into one of the main characters. They also make multiple astra drops each.

All the main characters (except Luc) get equipped with a Fury and turtle rune, the tankers with a violence rune, and fire sealing


Now onto the battle strategy

Formation is not important this time, since my team is damn huge.

Ukoku: Unlocks the rest of his teammates power and goes on standby
(Fei = TK-like abilities, spatial penetration, and incorporeal harming)
(Bindt = Better control of his power)

Luc: Equips the Blue Moon and ask Ukoku to paralyze him till he dominates the rune (shouldn't take long since he's been a master of a rune for 32 years). He then removes the rune and places it in the orb with the others and equips the sovereign (forehead) and Viki's rune (left hand). He turns Fei and Cornelia into runic vampires and quell their bloodlust (this takes little to no time since its as automatic as any other rune ability). He then creates a doppelganger and goes invisible.

Fei: Equips the Star Dragon and hides behind spacetime

Seth: Equips the soul gourde and goes invisible

Cornelia: Keeps telepathic link open, goes invisible and float

Bindt: Equips The Horn of Hypnos and the Mage Ring, goes Rynax and then invisible

I’ll first I’ll have Xellos gather me some random rock preferably some thing that doe’s not stand out if there is none I will have my entire team believe there is rock all around them or just have xellos do what he did in my previous prep (banhammer match)

Once that is done I have Oboro make the Mozoku pledge with Xellos and have nay do it with Kankel I then dispose of the stones in a place where it be near-impossible to find kind of like a needle in a hay stack. I will put them in separate areas just encase he doe’s find one.

Next I have Xellos create a Mozoku of around Seigrim to Kanzel level of power and have it fuse with Oboro this should barley scratch his maximum level of power but will also give Oboro a massive boost.

Now I will attempt to cancel out Ukoku’s demon plus horn strategy by tunring Rezo’s robe into head bands which I can use to cover my none Mozoku characters (except Rezo because he is blind and needs to hear) making it so they will not be able to hear the horn thus preventing my characters from being turned against me. As for Xellos and Kanzel I will have them slip into the astral plain and wait to jump ukoku’s horn demon or any one else. I will also have them manifest with out ears so they can not hear the horn either.

Next I will have Rezo prepare Blast Ash this should be enough to deal with the energy being that Ukoku has as it turns every thing that has a will into Ash.

Finally I have nay summon up her elementals.

Strategy
Have nay’s elementals make a parameter around my team to defend me from any attacks if Ukoku summons a demon army they will engage it and should win as there mach 3 – FTLightning in speed.

When Ukoku’s expected horn demon appears I will have xellos and kanzel drop out of the astral plain and ambush it only on eof them will do this though encase the demon has an escort if it doe’s the second Mozoku will jump out and take the escort out allowing me to kill the demon and take the horn from it.

Have Rezo cast blash ash on the energy being (forgot his/her name) this should deal with him if he has a will.

Next if I have the horn I will use it upon either Ukoku or one of the Slaad lords preferably Ygorl or Ssendam if the horn works upon Ygorl or Ssendam I can use them to manipulate the Slaad as there are few slaad who would refuse a slaad lord as it is a danger to there existence to do so.

Finally I will have my entire team try and denie the existence of the xenogear allowing me to finish off ukoku’s team who I believe will use the Xenon gear as a defense

(I will have kanzel watch the Lords of the slaad from the astral plain this will allow he to act encase Ukoku has the same idea as my self)


There, that should be it.

Ok I ask you this now you state that you could get all these Sultra in like 1 minute for one would this guy you work for even want to give you his Sultra they sound pretty valuable and I doubt he would give them up the way you suggest.

Also for this guy you say is getting pwned by you how long exactly has this fight been going on for you may be stronger than him but I want to know exactly how strong he is and how long he has lasted in this fight.

An other thing the way you go to your own verse and borrow things and the reason you can get it is because you know them I want proof that they would allow you to take them.

Also for these high level runes if I know fantasy RPG games you have to go though long as hell dungeons and slay some big guardian so seriously 10 minutes to do all this.

Finally how do you know how good the powers would be if you evolved them are you just thinking well they be as good as they are for such and such a character who is the best at teleporting in fiction.

She has the sutra



She can't use the sutra personally (making it useless to hold onto). She's a low-class demon. She has no one in her entourage even close to the strength of Ukoku. If anything, Ukoku could steal it. It isn't like she could stop him.

Besides, Ukoku has the sutra in his hands most of the time given that he's head of the revival. How hard would it be to retrieve something that's almost always in your possession?

The fight only lasted 1 minute. Most of it was Ukoku and Genjyo talking. Genjyo was already on his knees with his mind fragged, and Ukoku was only playing with him.

Here, I'm assuming that I'm seriously trying to take the sutra here. If I can do that to Genjyo playing around, I can so easily take the sutra from him when I'm trying.

I'm not going down the whole list of the people my team know and how they get them. You're really just going to have to go by my preparation. It's been detailed there, I'm not detailing it anymore.

Well only Cornelia, Fei and Bindt have evolved powers. Cornelia CAN and HAS the potential to teletransport, she just doesn't do it at the point I have her in this fight. Fei ALWAYS have that power, but to make it believable that he has it here, I made sure that Ukoku "evolved" his power (because quite seriously, Fei should be the last person needing evolved powers), and Bindt is only controlling his power better. Even if he can't control his powers better from the unlock, he still is more than useful.

I'm gonna need evidence that this can happen. Episode number would be fine.

This preparation goes on the assumption that you know what I'm going to do. How is it that you know what I'm doing?

Also, what is this headband and when did Rezo even do anything like this?

No Xenogears.

It pays to not pre-prep.
