So can't Orihime just reject the Garganta having been closed?

I mean >_> If she can reject events, just reject him having closed them and viola, open sesame, route out of there.

I bet you guys thats how Kubo Tite is going to pull it. I mean she really has to count for something in this arc....

Grimmy doing that...quite likely. However she needs to do something beyond healing people to make her powers seem less retardedly hyped. She has practically Neo powers and she needs to realize them eventually =.=

'Hime could do almost anything if she thought of it.

Unfortunately she is barely aware of what she's capable of, and at any rate far too busy going "!!!"

She won't be able to reject the Gargantas simply because that would be the logical thing to do.

Also see: Idiot Plot and Stupidity is the Only Option.

She can't reject the Garganta closing because there's nothing to reject. The gates are closed; only empty air is left.

Its rejection of an event remember, she restored GJ's arm even though tousen incinerated it completely

But the rest of Grimmjow was still there. If Grimmjow was completely erased from existence, Orihime wouldn't be able to reject that event since she would have nothing to target.

True, perhaps they will show her going to where the garganta's were and start rejecting I don't remember how exactly her powers work but IIRC she could reverse time as well

If Orihime has the power to reject fate and reject things in and out of existence, who knows how much power she has, but does not realize.

It makes sense soul society would be worrried to have someone like her in enemy hands.

Aizen and Ulquiorra described her powers as space reversal and time reversal.
Aizen also spoke of event rejection.
Going by this she should be able to reject the event itself, as if it never happened. In this case the garganta being closed.

she needs to contain the area within her barrier though, so she'd have to get close enough or project her healing barrier out far enough around the airspace where the garganta had been to be able to initiate the reversal.

The giant Vaizard confirmed that Orihime doesn't even need a piece of what she's rejecting to be able to reject it. In fact, that's how the Vaizard was able to restore Tsubaki.

I can look up the relevant manga chapters if you want, Marsala, but it's confirmed Orihime doesn't need a piece of what she's rejecting to be able to reject it.

If they're was an actual physical form then she could probably reject the events, but she can't since the doors vanished.

Aizen will destroy karakura town and make the key, then orihime will reject that. Thus, aizen will have key, karakura stays ok.
