Shikamaru vs. Yugi vs. Near vs. Kurama vs. Ukoku

Fleecy

Counting Sheep...
... In intellect games. :LOS For reference:

Shikamaru (Naruto)
Yugi [Yami disallowed] (Yu-Gi-Oh)
Near (Death Note)
Kurama (Yu Yu Hakusho)
Ukoku (Saiyuki)

Kurama stomps. Just look at his fight in the 3 kings saga tournament.

Doesn't Ukoku have some kind of pre-cog?

That should be helpful here, I think...

Near has some realitywarping plotdevice powers... only way to explain how he found Teru... so he autowins.

Kurama planted seeds hundreds (or thousands) of years in advance just for one fight.

Obvious victor is obvious.

Kurama takes it. He shouldn't even be in the same sentence with the likes of Shikamaru.
Don't know where you get off saying that to be honest.

Anyway I would rank Kurama highest followed by Shikamaru, near. I don't know who Ukoku is but I don't rank Yugi that highly.

Kurama has hundreds of years of foresight

if you think shinka even remotely compares i think you need to gtfo

He preped hundreds of years in advance. That is some thanos shit.

You need to shut up, where you get off telling people to get the fuck out of threads I do not know.

Kurama planting the seeds in that area a hundred years ahead of time wasn't some amazingly thought out plan just that he reckognised the fact that he may fight in that area one day so planted seeds there. He didn't know for certaintatity that there would be a fight it just paid off.

You know like how people make investments and sometimes the investment works out, sometimes it doesn't work out.

No it isn't some Thanos level shit, you're actually overrating that feat quite a lot.

1. No, you dont know. There is quite alot you dont know.
2. Do you realize how big makia is? Do you know the odd of fighting in 1 spefic place out of a whole plane? Pretty god damn remote unless you make it happen.
3. It is not like making a investment. Investments involve using prior knowledge and inticipating the results of the future. This isnt that simple.

Actually im not.

Who the hell else are yu gonna compare it to?

You have a ready made list?

This feat just shows that Kurama should check on a daily basis his girlfriend's whereabouts :/

Excluding Sanzo (Since I don't know who he is), Kurama definitely wins this.

-Near wouldn't have gotten Light without Mello's help, not to mention every bit of info was handed to him on a silver platter.

-Yugi without Yami? Ya, he's not much intelligent-wise without him. Yami's actually quite smart though, maybe he should be in this instead of Yugi.

-Skikamaru's got a 200 IQ, but his strategies aren't anything special compared to Kurama's in my opinion.

There is quite a lot you don't know too, I don't really see the point of what you said just then.

Which makes the feat less impressive he didn't anticipate or even plan to stage a fight in that location he just did so on the off chance that he would some day have a fight there. It's not like planting the seeds cost him an arm and a leg it was somethign to do that had no real negative side effects.
3. It is not like making a investment. Investments involve using prior knowledge and inticipating the results of the future. This isnt that simple.
Which makes it less impressive than making a descent investment, seeing as it was basically freak chance he ended up fighting in that location again.

Yami wins since he's de facto the King Of Games and nothing you say will change that on my mind.

That said, Kurama has a ball :LOS

Don't know where you get off saying that to be honest.
The moment a big deal is made out of Shikamaru figuring out that Hidan's seal is a weakness by jounins is the moment I just don't take him seriously. His level of intelligence in combat is still quite below that of Kurama when Kurama has outwitted more types of individuals whether they be the ridiculously powerful or actually crafty.

Shikamaru's feats just aren't really impressive in comparison; especially when Hidan is a repetitive idiot while Tayuya and Temari just relied upon trying to be overpowering rather than thoughtful. Basically, he's stomping stupid people while Jounins that should have more experience didn't figure out Hidan's seal being important and proclaimed him a genius for figuring out something so obvious.

Shikamaru's level of shown combat intelligence feats would put him at average at best in a verse like Hunter X Hunter... While the jounins that seemingly couldn't figure out something so simple as a seal are below average. In other words, Kurama is worlds smarter. I wouldn't even rank Shikamaru above Near.
