Sasuke won't transform into a Hawk...

Guys I don't know what you guys have been reading, but it's all in a literal sense.
Sasuke just lost his Cursed Seal, thus, fullfiling Madara's wishes of shedding his "serpentine scales" (Oro's power) and transforming into an hawk (Relying in his Uchiha Power only)

He won't gain wings and transform into a Hawk, seriously, everyone is saying "ACHTUNG, ITS HAWK TIME BABY, PREPARE BIJUU LEVEL CHAKRA" but it's highly improbable.

If anything, Sasuke will have to start relying on less Chakra now that the Cursed Seal is gone and improving his Chakra usage (A la Sakura) to do more with less and improve even further his eyes.
That is the meaning of the "Hawk transformation", going back to his Uchiha roots (Madara probably wanted him to gain the MS + EMS by killing his brother... )

It's uber :facepalm worthy that Sasukefans act like this Hawk business is something great.

It sounds cool, therefore it must be. It makes Sasuke look good therefore I must support it.

Exactly, they are hyping it like hell, but he wont transform into an Hawk man.
Most of them really need to start reading other books/Manga's and realize, that transforming into something usually means, changing his mentality, way to look at life... being reborn as a new person. Not GATTAI'ing and winning UBER POWERZ
 
The ugly wings he had before from Orochimaru, the snake monster... if he still had those wings, he wouldn't transform into a hawk.

I think soon he will have his wings back that will look like bird's wings.

But still, he will do nothing of that. He is losing his goal in life (Seeing that Itachi is dead) now he must find another one (Killing Madara). He won't change, he will just continue on his spiral descent into the avenger and revenge path.
He needs to be pimp slapped by Naruto :/

Anyway my point his, he won't gain new powers. He will just begin a new phase/goal whatever

Problem is that we don't know yet what "become a hawk" means...

Actually, I doubt it's some kind of physical transformation >_>, IMO it is more related to symbolism, actions that will determine Sasuke to a way :wink

Transforming into hawk isn't about the wings.. But he will become a new person, in other words his personality is more like resembling the hawk, hunting the prey without losing his good sights.

Exactly. No physical transformation whatsoever. No new wings.
 
The "Hawk" analogy had less to do with his Wings, and more to do with the Heights he could reach if he relied on his Uchiha Powers, which probably includes gaining the Mangekou Sharingan.

Also the Curse Seal works by forcibly drawing out the Chakra you have not yet managed to use, or any Chakra you have left. Sasuke has hardly used it for anything other than the other CS2 advantages like Flying and higher durability- in other words, for the most part his Chakra level, and Chakra control, are all pretty good. His level is not seriously diminished.

And Sakura's level of Chakra Cntrol iis extraordinary. Even the likes of Minato or Sarutobi might not have been as good as her, which is my way of saying excellent Chakra control is'nt the only way to become a powerful Ninja.

He is curved, a bit bent forward, and it's in the left side of the neck area. It's should be visible from that angle. And it's not there.
That panel was Kishimoto's intention of showing it that it's not there. Artists draw stuff for a reason you know. They don't do it for the shit's and giggles. If he just wanted to show Sasuke, he wouldn't zoom in that area.

well from this pont of view we were supposed to have seen it there.as we can compare it to other pics with the cs-i think someone already did the comparision.also there are several more pics from this chapter indicating its gone for good.

Are you serious? "It sounds cool, therefore it should be" is probably the best sort of framework to work out of for shounen manga. The better alternative is not "it sounds cool, but I'm going to assume something cool is not going to happen".

Unfortunately, logic and sense does not apply any more (I know this Manga involves Wizard Ninjas and Magic missiles, but it still had some till some time ago)

Oh, it's logic and sense, it's just not from an in-story perspective. From an in-story perspective, there's no reason to think it would be good.

In a sense, he said "will you remain as you are, or will something cool sounding happen to you?". The assumption should go on "the something cool sounding will happen" because we've all read stories before, and this one isn't exactly done by Joyce.

Not that I believe Sasuke's gonna turn into a hawk, necessarily (nor do I necessarily want him to, or care), but you sound awful damn sure for a guy who has no proof of his assumptions.

Considering this is a manga where crazy transformations and powerups are commonplace, Sasuke getting Hawk powers wouldn't surprise me in the least.

It makes no fucking sense him getting Hawk powers just because Madara used a METAPHOR

It's not because Madara used a metaphor. It's because it's shounen, and transformations metaphorical or otherwise more than often come with power-ups. It has nothing to do with what was said precisely. It's an "out of the story" sort of theory.

Let's think story wise. What phenomena could explain Sasuke mysteriously getting Hawk powers/transformation
Mangekyou Sharingan? Madara and Itachi had no such thing
Cursed Seal? He doesn't have it anymore

At the moment, we can only take it metaphorically, we can't expect him to get said powerup just because the fandom wants it
 
So if Sasuke being a 'snake' meant having wings in CS2, is he gonna get a tail when he turns into a 'hawk'?

Sasuke used Orochimaru to get what he wanted and during that period, he was a 'snake'. Now, especially after Itachi's death, Sasuke will have a choice to use his powers however he wants. He's free of CS and Orochimaru forever, but it doesn't mean he has to get a different power-up and turn into a bird, come on. He'll just be himself now. I'm very curious to see this new Sasuke.

And that would be a great argument, if we knew for sure that Madara was only speaking metaphorically.

As Hexa said, in a fantasy story like this, the line between the metaphorical and the literal tends to dissolve pretty often.
