Sasuke vs. Itachi with 3 tomoe

Please explain yourselfs, Sasuke managed to tie with itachi in genjutsu and taijutsu in his base form.

If Sasuke had did that and had raiton varients he'd win.

I don't see how you people say Itachi wins when Sasuke clearly surpassed him in the 3 tomoe stage currently?

Rectal Squid it's Pokeman's thread! You should choose any option except for Sasuke :hehee

Sasuke seems to have gotten better with his 3 tomae. Though MS seems like more problems after a while then its worth. Sasuke Karin would be the only factor for Itachi to worry about especially if he can't block it without Susano'o

What people don't realise, is that if Itachi had never obtained th Mangekyou in the first place, he would be a completely different shinobi.

So this is hard to determine. But I'd actually say he would have turned out stronger if he'd never gotten it, because he would have gained power in ways that didn't ultimately weaken him. No MS side effects=Sasuke getting stomped.

If you mean as he is, with MS, but not using it, we can't be sure either. But take away PIS/CIS and it would likely be close. Hard to determine.

Itachi... have you seen his kunai handiwork when Sasuke was younger? No matter what, Itachi is still Sasuke's superior. Even this fight proved it, although Itachi had to go all out to the point of exhaustion.

itachi was better than sasuke even without MS abilities;

and this is cursed seal and orochimaruless sasuke we're talking about? cause its only fair to give itachi CS, oro and kusanagi too if you take away his MS;

Sasuke would win because he took down MS techs with his base sharigan and still managed to tag Itachi who is supposed to be uber with taijutsu.

If this came down to three-tomeo & skill...

Itachi >>> Sasuke.

I think Sasuke is the second most skilled character in the manga, but I think Itachi was the most godly in that area. That's the reason he's my favorite character. Since you guys asked, my favorite scenes in the manga are as follows:

1. Itachi's kunai throwing scene. The blind-spot being hit in the bullseye is pretty much what sent me from being a fan to a fanboy... :)

2. Itachi's brief battle with Kakashi in pt. 1. The whole hyper-speedy hand seal coupled with exploding bunshin replacing his real body, and using shunshin at the same time....

Good grief. FUCK YOU KISHIMOTO!!!

3. Real or not, Itachi twirling in the air, grabbing Sasuke, and throwing him with his weak hand. When that shit get's animated, I will likely have my drool towel.

4. Haku's one-handed seals. Come on, that was some fly shit. I wished he would've lived longer, 'cause he likely would've been my second favorite character.

5. Even though I hate his guts right now .... Sasuke descending on Team 7 in a blink of an eye was just ridiculous. That ties for number 1 favorite, but since I hate Sasuke at the moment, it was bumped down to number 5.

Okay, none of this had anything to do with the topic, but I felt the need to share, anyway.

Battledome thread, brah.

Anyways no contest, Sasuke stomps.

Itachi had a hard enough time with MS.

Sasuke in part 2 has caught up and this fight confirms Sasuke being better than Sasuke with his sharigan.

Sasuke without the Sharingan is better than Sasuke with his Sharingan? I doubt that...

Itachi has still won this battle... if he so desired he could've had Susanoo cut up Sasuke at the end. It's something else holding Itachi back... presumably Sasuke's eyes.

I say Amaterasu would have done it if he wasn't going for Sasuke's eyes

As a matter of factly, I don't even care about the sharingan.

Itachi gave Sasuke two "WTF?!?!?!" moments in the manga. One was when he was a kid and Itachi nailed that target, bullseye, in his blind spot...

...and in this fight when he created that bunshin in the middle of all that shuriken hurling. Sasuke's sharingan couldn't follow the seals 'cause he didn't realize what had happened until the bunshin had already been created.

Itachi has the ability to use multiple technique almost simultaneously.

Sasuke is highly skilled, but he is not on Itachi's level in that area. No one is. Maybe Minato, but I need to see it, and not be told.

I actually wish Itachi never had the sharingan, 'cause he was the greatest academy student without it. Meaning? He had supreme talent without the damned sharingan...

....imagine what kind of monster he would've been had he focused all of his energies into developing non-sharingan abilities.

The sharingan, I feel, held him back. The sharingan made him lazy, I feel. If he had to rely on his talent, and not his bloodline, I think he would've been greater....

YA'LL KNOW WHAT I WANTED TO SEE?!?!?

I wanted Madara to throw a kunai at Itachi when he was about to take Sasuke's eyes, and Itachi would've caught it with his teeth.

*falls on the floor and orgasms*

See, this should've been my manga. As a matter of fact, can someone recommend a good manga where I can see this kind of shit from a character. All of these uber jutsu's are boring, and so are the bloodline limits. The only time I ever cared about genjutsu was when Itachi casted it through his finger. THAT was amazing...

...'cause that took talent, and not reliance on his bloodline.

the time itachi fought with sasuke without MS jutsus it was like this:

both of them threw shurikens at each other with the same speed but sasuke got them from the seals around his wrist so he had an unfair advantage... still itachi was as fast...and the end he even did a bunshin during the whole scene so fast sasuke couldnt even notice... then cursed seal snake saved sasukes ass from it;

sorry, sasuke without CS, prep-time and orochimarus powers is less than itachi without MS imo; and MS is actually itachis own power;

In a way, you're right. Sasuke Sharingan should/is/will be better than Itachi. But that doesn't include skill. There are people who beat uchihas without having the Sharingan. Some of the strongest people in the manga don't have the Sharingan.

Itachi skills IMO > Sasuke.

Itachi jutsu speed is so fast that even Sasuke sharingan could not see it clearly. His taijutsu seem to be better than Sasuke. His ninjutsu also seem to be better than Sasuke and his use of Genjutsu (but it won't matter in the fight). We don't how much Itachi's eyesight has decreased over the past years because it seems Itachi just use the MS to torture ppl in recklessness.

We never saw a real fight between Sasuke and Itachi in a Taijutsu and Ninjutsu skill match, but I'll give to Itachi here. It seems every time the fought in Taijutsu, Itachi got the upper hand, despite his eyes. Seem with Ninjutsu, Sasuke could not see his hean seals like Kakashi.

Itachi use of Ninjutsu is very good too. Unlike Naruto, Itachi use his Shadow Clones more intelligently and with strategy. And if Itachi would've been aiming to kill, the match would've been a lot different.

From the fight that we saw, Itachi did not want to kill Sasuke, but he could've if he wanted to or just trap him in genjutsu forever. We don't know how much his eyesight decreased. Sasuke didn't surpass Itachi, but he had a victory against Itachi, unless proven otherwise next week.

If we were to sepulate who would win between those two if Sasuke and Itachi with only 3 tomoe, I would say Itachi.

@bolded part

isn't that what sasuke showed in this fight?

he came up with a jutsu the level of ameretsu which didn't rely on his sharingan or MS. but i guess you will never accept that sasuke is more skilled then itachi.
