I've been curious about this for a while. I've read some posts from people who don't like Sasuke now, but they said that they liked him in Part 1 pre-curse seal and Itachi influence. I wonder, would you change your mind and stop hating him if he became some semblance of who he was back then? I can't think that's he's going to go back completely, but if he started fighting for his friends again, would you stop hating him, maybe even like him?

Or has he gone too far and is now incapable of returning to your good side? Does it depend on the circumstance?

And sorry for people who like Sasuke, I just figured that since this is mainly addressed to people who hate Sasuke, the poll option wasn't really needed.

I'm not a Sasuke hater, and I doubt that hate for Sasuke's character would ever cease. A lot of hate would stop if Sasuke would actually value the bonds he once shared, but if he went back to how he was prior to Itachi's influence and the Curse Seal, Sasuke would still have a somewhat cocky and arrogant personality. To be honest, I don't see anything wrong with that, everyone has an ego to an extent.
 
I've always hated him. The only way I could come to like him is if he got completely and utterly crushed and had to work his way up the hard way.
And by crushed I mean not just recieve a minor setback, but lose everything he has. His body shattered his mind broken his heart in pieces.
And by hard way I mean Rock Lee style.
 
I don't know why people will have "always hated" an anime/manga character.
All I usually hear from those people is "He's an emo ^ (not the meaning of the word "respect".),lolz" or they give no reason at all.

I hate him the same reason I hated Kira Yamato and being an emo ^ (not the meaning of the word "respect".) is only part of it.

The problem is that they cant prove it cause its not true. Its a baseless insult, meant to make them look funny(stupid).
 
I am a proud Sasuke hater,so what??I dont give a damn,for me he is just ovarrated and gay,the second main character should not be an emo bitching homo:mad I am more of an Itachi fan,cause he also doesent give a damn what people think of him,and Sasuke is his lil bitch all the way to the end!!Yeah ,Itachi owns :LOS:uchihahaha
 
I really don't mind sasuke's character all that much. I mean I dislike him for killing deidara, but I've mainly gotten over that especially after re-reading the fight. I just hat e some of that tards here that completely worship him, only because he (with kishi's plot-shielding) is the strongest in the manga. They throw so much hype and BS around about him that they ruin sasuke for me.

I hate sasuke. I may like him one day eventually if he ever stops being an asshole, but not in my direct line of sight.

I agree. I don't think I will be able to like him though. It's just too late, and I never really liked him in the first place.

I can understand a lot of people not liking him because of his fans. I don't like it when people are tards for any character, even Sasuke, even though the Sasuketardism may be more pronounced because he's been looking good and getting a lot of action lately. I don't really dislike any character for their fandom at this point, but I have gotten to the point where I'm really irritated with a character for his fans. I've definitely started disliking certain pairings for the way their fandoms view them.

The only tardism I like is from the Golden Byakugam group, because they make me laugh :del
 
In part 1 I didn't hate him...but in part two he's getting on my nerves pretty much....but if he could be less selfish maybe I'll stop hating him
 
Sasuke used to be my favorite character, now, the only thing that would make me like him again was if he were to die.

You mean like having his entire family killed in front of him by his own brother? Then having him devote his entire life to working hard and developing new techniques to defeat said brother? Even going so far as to cut off all possible happiness from friendship and romantic relations in order to achieve this goal? Even joins with a suspected p*d*p**** in order to increase his training and techniques?

Yeah.. I agree, I could only like him if something horrible like that happened to him...

I'd like him again, I can't front. Make him that guy who threw himself between Naruto and a killing blow. I was showing Naruto to a friend of mine who had never seen it (he lives under a rock under the sea), and he said around the final Chuunin Exam fight that he liked Sasuke the most because he was the only character with real honor in the series. I had to admit he was pretty much right on. It's too bad the rest of the series will ruin Sasuke for him, but it'll be pretty fun watching his opinion change like mine did way back when.

But yeah, bring the Sauce back to his homies and get rid of the Curse Seal, and I'll have absolutely no complaints about him. He can even stick with Hebi and not return to Konoha if he'll just show emotion every damn once in a while. Those times in the beginning of Naruto where Sasuke lost his cool (usually to something Naruto said or did) are what I remember most fondly about him.

Right now though, he's an android who only want us to think he's a human.

I don't like sasuke much!!! He is the ninja version of Kira Yamato from seed. The first pat of thier respective series, they struggled and were not the most powerful of characters. But somewhere after part two of the series, they are godmodded to such an extent, they ruin the rest of the series. The fanbases behind both chars are ridiculous and annoying. They think their chars are gods and will never lose, such that they will bicker till the end of time that thier char is perfect and flawless. The authors respond by having said chars win fight after fight after fight, with relative ease. Thus the series becomes crap due to fandom of such chars. I don't mind sasuke being this strong, he earned his current strength, but if he lost just one fight or two in Part 2 before facing his brother, I would definitely jump on the sasuke bandwagon and buy his merchandise :zaru
 
i don't hate sasuke but i think the problem many have with him isn't exactly how he acts but the fact he is getting so strong so fast. Even though he is making mostly "wrong" decisions he is getting far stronger than most of the "good" characters. Also the more and more powerups the sasuke gets through the sharingan and curse seal makes him an extremely powerful character. He trains hard, but not as hard as say naruto becasue he doesn't need to due to the sharingan. In my own opinion i actually like sasuke more now that he is getting more powerful, through training or powerups. He is getting very strong and i hope he accomplishes his goals but i do know that eventually he will need to face naruto or fight alongside him (or both) and we will see that naruto is stronger than him. But that is my thoughts, he is a good character and an excellent rival for naruto that will push him to be stronger. I will be forgive sasuke because i don't think he has done anything wrong, the story must go on.
