Sasuke better without the sharingan?

Think about it for a second. All of the Sasuker-haters complain that he would be nothing without the sharingan. But would it be better if he lost his sharingan in this fight against Itachi? I mean, it would give Sasuke the perfect chance to show that he can pwn without his sharingan and that he is gifted with his own, natural, talents. Then when he fights Itachi for a rematch, he can win, take back his eyes, and then he'll have EMS. I think that's a fair way to achieve them.

By no means is this a thread to hype Sasuke up. It was just some crazy idea I got after reading the recent spoilers.

So what do you think?

i think that would be pretty bomb
ive been hoping since the beginning of the fight that he would lose his eyes
to show his "real power" or whatever it might be instead of wtfpwn h4x0r upgrades like the CS and Sharingan
it would shut alot of people up
 
The kid would be blind. Blind people < Sighted people in fights.

Well I wasn't planning that this would happen right after he loses his eyes. It'll probably be awhile and by that time he should have new eyes.
 
Except for the fact that the Tsukuyomi Itachi used in the primary stages of this match would most likely have been the death of Sasuke. Of course it wasn't just the sharingan that was used in order to dispel it, but also a large exertion of chakra due to the cursed seal. Most people forget the insight that it provides and how much more difficult it would be to dodge or counter the types of attacks he does currently.
 
If he lost his sharingan he would be considerably weaker.

The sharingan would be an awesome edition to anyones arsenal.
 
^I agree with you,he would be alot weaker, but if he managed to train to get to the level he's at now without the sharingan, wouldn't that make him even stronger.

Every fight he's won thus far that we've seen has been because of the sharingan, EVERY fight he's been in.

And I fail to see how him becoming blind will make him stronger. That makes absolutely no sense.
 
hed be a chunnin with out his sharigan

without the sharigan he wouldnt be able to do chidori and its variants.
the compressed charka of the jutsu would blind a normal eye. tahts why only kakashi and sasuke use it

also it would leave u to a wide open attack. minato said that chidori under kakashi (pre sharigan) was a unfinished jutsu cause it left u wide open for a counter attack

he wouldnt be able to predict movements which would make his taijutsu god awful. if ur use to predicting the moves of ur oppent and than all of a sudden u cant, u'll get hit and be like wth

without it, he wouldnt have the sharigan genjutsu.

when ever people face sasuke or itachi, they comment on there eyes not there natural skills. cause sasuke is so dependant on it that without it his stragety and fighting stlye would be god awfull

hed still be fast, good with the sword, and be able to use his katon, but i doubt anywhere near his current level
 
Sasuke is talented without the sharingan. Remember he was at the top of his class (right below Sakura or something like that) in his class. He has been the one that pre timeskip has come up with the best solutions in their team.

I am no sasuke fanboy, but underestimating him is something only someone incapable of objectivity will do regardless.
 
Sasuke owning whilst blind like daredevil would be amazing. I could still not forgive him for wimping out and going to Orochimaru.
