pre-Temari vs pre-Sasuke

I can't see how Sasuke would get near Temari.

He tries Gokyakyuu, she uses Fuuton: Daitoppa and now there is a searing heatwave going straight for Sasuke.
 
unfortunately temari is screwed. pre skip sasuke was a heavy katon user and temari is a wind user.

yamato stated that fuuton weaknes is katon. thus if temari used fuuton which basically the only moves we've see her with it would backfire on her and sasuke's katon would just get bigger.

aslo hes cs and lee like speed would help him close the distance between them fast

Wait what?

Yamato has already stated that if a Katon runs into a Fuuton, the Katon overpowers it and becomes even stronger.

But before I make a decision, what version of pre-skip? The exam or SRA?

If exam, I see Temari winning, if it is SRA I see Sasuke winning.

Assuming This is Pre-TimeSkip Sasuke and Pre-TimeSkip Temari

Sasuke's Katon attacks will overpower Temari's Fuuton attacks greatly. Also Sasuke at that time was skilled with his taijutsu, and the Cursed Seal will greatly increased his speed and strength. Temari's summon can be easily dealt with by Sasuke pushing himself into his Cursed Seal 2 Form.
 
Temari wins this :zaru One whip of her fan can obliterate the whole forest covering Sasuke with tons and tons of trees.
 
This is the chunnin exams?. Or just the setting is the forest of Death?. I believe Sasuke could defeat Temari in any moment of the series. Temari was strong for a girl... but still far from the top guys.
 
Heh, so many people still referencing that filler fight even after so many people in this topic explained it was filler.

Temari is very underrated, she was beastly during the chuunin exams and the SRA.

However, the elemental advantage gives Sasuke the win.
 
Problem is Temari is more of a stationary fighter. She would have hard time against Katons and Sasuke's speed, assuming this is Sasuke of Sasuke vs Garra fight.

I like Sasuke's chances here.
