Pein and his necklace.

PlotNoJutsu

The plotting
The three sacred treasures of Japan.
Well we know Orochimaru has Kusungai. And um, the seocnd relic is the mirror.... *cough* Damn rules.

The third relic...

Could it be Pein's necklace? Could that have something to do with his abiities?

Back in the FoD
The necklace is in the top left box.
Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

I think those are just more piercings. If there is a necklace then it is either the one that was worn by Rikoudo or Naruto's necklace and I'm leaning towards Rikoudo's since the beads are the right shape I think.

This necklace appears to the be the same as the one that belonged to Rikidou. Though they appear to be similar, and there is a possiblity of such, I believe that Orochimaru's main ambition is to obtain the Sharingan though it is obvious he seeked other things such as the Totsuka.

Wait a day or two and posts a picture or two. Its definately the same necklace that Rikudou wore. This is a picture of what the necklace would look like

I can see the fight now.
The prophecy -- will Naruto win and lead the world to peace or will Pain win and destroy everything? The sacred jewel necklace of mad haxxed out powaz or Naruto's necklace of will of fire? Pain's haxxed out bloodline or Naruto's hard work? Pain's 6 bodies or Naruto's shadow clone mastery? Kishimoto's real story or my off-topic fanfic?????????

If a mod somehow has the ability to downsize that picture it would be sweet.

Those things attached to the necklace looks like Kidney beans.

Note the yin/yang like shape of the beads, and how there are six of them, one for each of the paths I assume. It doesn't look like Pein's piercings as you will notice that they are all black and seem to curl into his skin rather than just curl into the yin/yang shape. They also lack the holes that the beads have. :oh

Btw also there's Naruto's Shodai's Necklace, I bet there's something mysterious about it yet to be revealed..

The sacred relic necklace is Naruto's not Pain's. This is emphasized by the fact that it was stated to be worth several mountains. Though the similarities to Rokudou's necklace cannot be denied.

Hmm, I wonder if it will have any ties to the actual story. That is if they are one in the same, which is likely. The statement that it was used to achieve "Imperial ascension" is certainly interesting.

I doubt either Naruto or Pein have the necklace 'cause the one that Rikudou is wearing looks nothing like the ones those two wear. Naruto's is a crystal and thats it, Pein is probably piercings and if it was a necklace the spikes on the necklace look nothing like Tomoe.

its probably shodaime's necklace

i bet if kabuto put on all 3 of these artifiacts he would transform into a gigantic super strong mecha :hehee

I was rereading the fight between Jiraiya and Pein and I've confirmed that it isn't a necklace, it's a piercing. I also noticed that the other Pein's had piercings place in the same location.

Also... A necklace is meant to be weighted at the front while the back hangs off the neck, Pein's piercings are circular and don't hang off of anything. Add to all this the color is the same as the piercings and well...

I made a thread about these three before. I think the treasure has more to do with the necklace that Naruto has

Hello! Have we forgotten about Itachi's necklace?

Just kidding, really. But this is a very interesting thread indeed.
