Anyone feel the manga is seriously way ahead of the anime?
I just feel that the animators are on purpose wasting 15 minutes of BS staring in the anime on each episode, it's taking Naruto and Co 3-4episodes to find Sasuke when they're in the lair already, like CMN.

I want to see some of the best fights animated. :pek

yeah its annoying waiting for the episodes to come out and how theyre so far behind.
but i like how the episodes are lenghted out. i think they add some more detail and ancipation. thought the best part is seeing the fights animated. personally i cant wait for the anime to get to jiraya and pein fight. i wanna see hermit mode animated.
 
Lol even the SasukeXOro fight feels soo long away.

I'm getting tired of this slow pacing coupled with the shitty animation.
 
That's how the animators and I suppose Kishimoto wanted things to be. There would be confusion if the anime was ahead of the manga because the anime is based on the manga. That's the reason why the pacing is so bad for Shippuden: the animators are trying to create distance between the manga and anime as much as possible. If the show went at a regular pace, I suppose it would catch up rapidly.
 
I do understand but 3-4 episodes on just one chapter is quite long.

Hopefully it'll catch up a bit. :(
 
I will have to agree with the people that say the animation started to go down hill quality wise, after the KN4Naruto vs. Orochimaru fight. The slow pacing to me doesn't make any sense, the Shippuuden anime is no where close to the manga. If anything the pace should be speeden up, and the good Shippuuden quality needs to come back, hopefully when the Sasuke reunion episodes play.

I want to see that fight too. It'll be awesome to see all those summons going bam bam bam, right after another.

It is long, but it was intended that way so that there would probably be no more need for fillers, as long as they were. It is so that the anime does not catch up to the manga series as it almost did before.

Also there have been times when the anime covered more than one chapter. It is for the anime/manga pacing as well as for good cliffhangers and suspense I would assume.
 
It's best that the Anime keeps it's distance.If the Anime catches up to the manga its' gonna be problems.

Plus the animators should also be careful in what they put in the filler because it might end up contradicting what they will have to animate later on.

i.e. Kakashi copying ice techniques
Sasuke being able to recognise the real naruto from the bunch of KB's.

I do understand the need to slow it down, but to the extent they are doing it now lol, is mental.

If you watch it after the KN4 VS Oro fight the staring matches have increased.

Right now with the Uchiha fight, the manga feels months behind. :(

Also the animation quality has dropped. Episode 48 probably being the worst to date.

I'm not complaining just that I'm losing my interest a little bit.
 
Yeah, it's pretty damn annoying, but it's either this or more filler arcs.

This seems more like a Konoha TV thread.
 
The animators also need to keep in mind that they have Kakashi Gaiden as a "safety measure". If they feel they're getting too close to the manga, then have Kakashi have a 3-episode flashback Gaiden-style. And I don't mind 3-4 episode filler arcs since I can just skip them when I rewatch the series (episode 26? Episodes 102-106? Never heard of them, hehe), so putting a few in when they'd be appropriate is fine by me.

I mean, let's say they started doing 2 chapters an episode.

Currently:

Anime = Chapter 304
Manga = 392

Let's say 50 chapters a year (fairly close, given the three-weak break and occasional holiday):

A year from now:

Anime = Chapter 404
Manga = 442

A year from then (Kakashi Gaiden is done as a 3-episode flashback):

Anime = Chapter 498
Manga = 492

See? It would take 2 years before the anime can catch up. And 2 chapters an episode is pushing it anyway, I'm fine with 1.5 chapters. And if they go with only 1.5, the anime will never catch up if the manga finishes at Kishimoto's original plan of about 500 chapters. So they really are overreacting at this point. Come on, episode 26 was a great example of what Shippuden could be. I mean, the Rescue Gaara arc was done pretty well (Team Gai vs. clones fight aside), it's a shame if future arcs get slowed down for no reason.
 
They need too do 2 eps a week just 2 catch a bit just a bit not way much cause we going spend half the year wit sauske lookin for his fuckin people
 
It is annoying, but it prevents a year long of fillers... and it sometimes builds the suspense
