Orochimaru's Arms?

This is something that I just don't understand. When Sarutobi used Shiki Fujiin against Oro, he decied to use it on his arms because he couldn't pull his whole soul out.

End result, Oro's arms die and he needs to change bodies because the infection of the arms are killing him.

So he changes bodies, and all of a sudden his arms are healed.

Wtf!?

I understand that a new body mean new arms, by how does a new body=healed soul

Sarutobi severed Orochimaru's soul. How do you repair your soul after a chunck of it is removed. It doesn't make sense.

How did his arms heal? There's no way he could heal his soul. I dont get it.

i think he "fused" the hosts soul onto his but only using the arms part, but like u stated that seems pretty impossible.... i realy dont know beyond that.

I was wondering about that too.

I suppose he just assimilates his host's soul too when he performs his transfer Jutsu. That's the best thing I can think of considering how the hosts were shown swallowed up by the ground in the spiritual, transfer world.

Yea, its pretty lame he can use his arms again. Fusing souls together? Lol thats just bullshit.

His soul transfer technique stated that it only moved his soul into another body. The fact that Sarutobi's dying attempt failed is so gay.

well, kishi probably needed a reason to use the rashoumon gates so he just gave him the hands back. But at least Oro is not spaming ninjutsus, but uses only is snake attacks (no element jutsus and forbidden jutsus ad etc. Uuuhm, until ext time lol

but yah, that saru had to die for oro to just get his jutsus back after 2 months was a sad waste.

Maybe sarutobi reduced orochimarus overall charka?.....K probably not i think u've found a nice little plot hole that seems like it'll probably never be addressed by kishi

I believe it was stated that Kabuto had some influence in the healing of his arms, as Tsunade refused to do so herself. The exact process I am unsure of, though I am not sure if that was specifically done.

Well, it would have been kind of lame if Orochimaru was handicapped the rest of his time in the Manga, don't you agree?

Anyhow, it was never stated that he could only get his hosts body, as in, it specified that he absolutely got nothing else.

the host body still has the soul trapped, so why not use certain parts of their soul...

that my only reasoning...(hell, Sasuke used parts of Oro mind to know his tech, seems ok for Oro to use parts of the host body/soul)

It stated that he moves his soul into another body, but also that that
persons soul becomes a part of him. He probably did just fuse with their soul, and use their arms.

Also, did you ever consider that Kisi just has a slightly different definition of Soul? Maybe it is tied in with Chakra, for example.

No; his arms were clearly healed immediately after the Transfer, given that he is shown usign them in small ways. He's also no longer in any pain.

Anyway, has anyone else wondered just what Tsunade could have done, either? Oro thought she could heal his arms, but could she have? How can she if his arms have no Soul?

That was basically what i was thinking.

We werent suppose to get it, like how Vegeta goes super sayain 4 and his clothes totally change to a red fir top and tight looking leather pants.

No, it would have made for one extremely unique character. Don't get me wrong, Oro is as unique as they can get...but no one in this series has any type of handicap...they can all use everything. No one's missing an arm, a leg, an eye (sasukaaaaaay!).

I think it would have been really interesting...
