Like I just said. Cost of doing business and he may have weighed the risk versus the reward and decided it was a good idea to proceed as is.

- Risk of Gorosei doing anything themselves up to now has basically been zero.

- He needed the funds and he felt the benefits outweighed the risk of the Gorosei taking initiative.

- There are other scientists on Egghead who help Vegapunk. If they are loyal to the World Government, this could have served as enough of a deterrent to keep Vegapunk from attempting any funny business.

- Much like the above point I made, they could have had people oversee Vegapunk create them and made sure that he didn't attempt anything sneaky.

It's not a "plothole" and Vegapunks not an "idiot" because of it.

That being said, the arc isn't over. Maybe he did install some sort of sneaky failsafe. You guys need to give the story a chance to play out before jumping down Oda's throat, but I guess it wouldn't be the OL if people thought critically around here and didn't jump to hasty conclusions.

and like I said, Vegapunk is very proud of the Seraphim and like he told Dragon, he needs money in order to do great things for the world. The reward outweighed the risk for him in this case. It will bite him in the ass here, but that doesn't mean he's a dumbass for doing what he did.

And you dont need to tell me about Seraphim hierarchy because I already understand about it and even talk about it in the past chapter..
Even talk about how CP0 should evacuate seraphim from egghead asap because of Vegapunk is still the one with highest order of hierarchy on the island.

Even mention about it yesterday in this thread after spoiler drop. Talking about the smart move from the marine/kizaru to bring Gorosei to cliam the seraphim.

I am just poke fun at those tier specialist people. Thats all.

The chapter seems to show that they're his/punks scientists when the cp0 agents raided them.

He may need money but it was his creation, he already knew the day was going to come where he was going to die so why would getting funded matter on that day? He could've set up a safety protocol of some sort to where they only listen to punks/vegapunk when it was time for his death.

It definitely makes him a dumbass.

So the question is why didn't your boys send an Admiral instead of those poor guys?

There's no reason to presume that every scientist on Egghead or in the Government is on Vegapunk's side.

Doesn't matter if it was his creation. There's no creation without the money and resources provided by his bosses. The Gorosei never do anything (until now), so to him the benefits outweighed the risks.

Nah, based on your logic, anyone who takes a calculated risk that doesn't pan out makes them a "dumbass". That simply isn't the case.

And again, this is all assuming he didn't include a failsafe. Maybe he did. You guys really like jumping the gun though instead of letting the story play out.

Bakkin is probably lying about Weevil protecting Sphinx island from the marines, it's likely that as we know Weevil went there trying to find Marco, and the marines got there tracking Weevil as they were hunting the Shichibukai.

Weevil tried to defend himself, but Green Bull captured him, and then they just left since they had no business with the island, they just wanted Weevil.

My early guess is that Oda's going to use this to show that the Seraphims still have some of the originals personaility/ interests and S Mihawks reaction will be one of interest towards Zoro's swordsmanship.

That's going to be what separates Zoro from his encounter with Blackbeard, Zoro's the first very strong swordsman that he's crossed swords with.
