The mods are my enemy
Remember Link has a lot of anti-magic gear like the mirrior sheild and the master sword.

I think this is a close fight

conditons are: Both fighters must be in charater.

Lina Inverse has the magic amplifying talismins and the sword of light in addition to her usual gear.

Don't know anything about Lina Inverse. Is this Link with just his OoT gear, or the OoT Link and all his items from his respected games? (OoT, MM, OoA/OoS)

From an omnipotent?

Hell no.

Here, watch this:

crappy Spanish subtitled video of the live performance of Kaigan Doori

Lina would only use That attack as a last resort

Dragon Slave is a nuke - level magical attack powered by Ruby - Eye Shabranigdo. I don't think he can take that.

You might be right. Link's specialty is repelling and countering dark magic, but he never encountered dark magic of that level

Yeah. Dragon Slave isn't just a tactical nuclear weapon easily capable of disentigrating floating islands weighing several bajillion tons. It's beating someone over the head with Ruby Eye Shaburanigdu.

Two simultaneous Dragon Slaves would have killed Hellmaster Phibrizzo who is roughly capable of killing and then ressurecting everything in Hyrule with the snap of a finger. Xellos for instance -- who slaughtered several thousand dragons by waggling a finger, can't even -touch- someone of Phibrizzo's level.

Lina also has the Ragna/Laguna Blade, which is a ridiculously powerful spell. It's incantation refers to it as power that can smash through the souls of even the Gods. And it cuts through other dimensions as well. Pretty useful if you're facing hard-to-kill foes.

And finally we have the Giga Slave. If Lina casts this spell successfully, then it's game over for probably -most- people short of the Living Tribunal. Period.

To add to that, Lina -isn't- half bad with a sword. She's no Gourry, but she can cut you up really, really nicely. To add to the unfairness, the Sword of Light amplifies the effect of magic.

Naryu's love is not infinite.

Link would eventually run out of mp...

Ragna Blade is another trump card that Lina would only use as a last resort.

He only has the Tri-force of courage at the end

"It was revealed that one who touches the Triforce has all of their wishes come true; the Triforce reflects the heart of the one who touches it, whether good or evil"

So um... Link could wish for a party. and the fight would be over.

Link was never In possesion of the whole Tri-force.

Actually, he only said that would have actually hurt him. Drag slave is good, but not that good. IIRC, even Garv's lackey (Zeigram?) could take an implified Drag Slave.

If this was Link from "The Chronicles of Link" novel, he'd win rather effortlessly.

Yeah those spells take way too long to cast for link to just stand there and get murdered.

A light arrow to The brain is the cure-all to Lina's insanely powerful spells

Not exactly. You get fireballed before you can move. Or hit with an arrow of fire. Or hit with a giant rock. Or the ground underneath you explodes. Lightning bolts are also a favorite. Lina is also capable of flight+magical shielding.

The bigger stuff may take Lina a little bit of time to cast, but at her caliber of sorcery, the "smaller" stuff is near-instantaneous. And smaller stuff is a relative term when you're talking about someone who hurls Tac-nukes.

Ragna Blade is another trump card that Lina would only use as a last resort.

I disagree Ragna Blade isn't a last resort and never was meant to be. It was the only resort at the time. She needed a way to kill Kanzel and/or Mazenda without risking what she thought was her life.

Plus, the Mazoku were hopping through dimensions. And something that cuts through anything and everything is bloody useful

Ok then. But she wouldn't start the fight off with ragna blade, or use it all the time due to the ragna blade using a lot of power to use.

And Link should be able to parry the ragna blade with his master sword, which is indestructible and repels magic.
