New Group of Villains?

So many villains have died in a short time, and there's very few Akatsuki left leaving a small number of villains.

So do you think that when the evilness of the story is directed towards Danzou that a new group of villains will be presented thru his Anbu?

i mean, it IS typical for a Shounen series right?

Its possible . The talk of ROOT does seem like a premonition of part 2, just as Akatsuki was for part 1.
 
I only see Sai's sempai, or whoever, that gave him the secret mission. I think he is the only ANBU ROOT that will have a code name. All other ROOT are fodder for normal Konoha nins to fight. ROOT will easily take out ANBU, but I can see the side new generation winning against ROOT. Maybe we'll learn more about Sai's "brother". Sai will fight some Konoha nin but change to a good guy.
 
I read somewhere that Kishi said he wouldn't go over 500 chapters? There's not time for a new set of villains. Besides, after Akasuki means after Madara, and then Sasuke's story would be over.

Plus, the teachers are dying off along with the villains.
 
The power scale is already getting a little high so I much prefer it to end at part 2. Not to mention they will just be fodder villains if we do see a group from ROOTS in the next arc or so.
 
Who can possibly replace the Akatsuki as villains?! They're the most badass villains. :arg

But anything's possible... I sure hope he doesn't introduce a new set of villains though. I've had quite enough of villain deaths. :cry
 
After Akatsuki, I doubt that we will see the plot continue for much longer. Most likely Danzou will attack while the organization is still thriving. After the revelation is over, Kabuto may strike and impose a threat to the new generation or new but not as powerful villains will appear.
 
i can see sai killing danzou sometime and in that effect dispanning root. Or there could be some larger story behind this, but i don't think that is how the story will play out but then again hey im not the one writing it.

You should cite it. like said before, kishi did state that he does not want to go over 500 chapters. though if there are any new villans Danzou is the only one right now, besides kabumaru, whats left of the akatsuki(tobi/madara included), and the rest of sasuke's team including himself.
 
Yeh I think Sasuke could make a new villain along with team Hebi...
I can imagine the series coming together nicely ending with the whole naruto vs. Sasuke thing!
 
I say it's over once Akatsuki is out of the way. Danzou will be dealt with during the last story arc, sorta like a side story. Probably the others of the Konoha 12 will take him out like Neji, Lee, etc.
 
I don't want anything after Akatsuki, like someone already said, the power levels are high as they are right know. People can destroy villages with ease, and you have people that are immortal right now. After that I don't see what Kishi can do that won't be stupid.

I reckon they would be Giant Robots from outer space, and they can shoot beams from their eyes.

Don't know if they can transform or not, and say really cool things like "with our powers combined we become...", but if they can then that would be a plus.

I am going to call these badass villains, "The Blast-a-trons".
 
I don't think the OP was asking if the story will continue after akatsuki, but if there will be a root version of the sound 4 implemented because there are only a few villains at the moment.

And I'm personally hoping for it. I think it's imperative that we see a certain number of characters get a fight in part 2 as the series is coming to an end. We need closure on the former genins' abilities, and characters like Neji and Rock Lee used to be extremely popular. Sai was created to fill in Sasuke's spot and had most of an arc based on him as well. I think 1~1.5 chapter mini fights, or even shorter, would be worth it, if only to give the video game creators ideas.

Well if Naruto is going to become Hokage, then ROOT will need to be stopped.

I will be very happy when Naruto stops saying "Sasuke this, Sasuke that". For me it is getting very trying. So as soon as Sasuke gets some sense knocked back into him all the better, and the story can actually move forward. And as far as the Akatsuki are concerned, they are another annoyance. I am actually more interested in the political intrigue in the village, then over some power hungry, insane villains who can spew swords out of their mouths or shoot flames from their eyes.

I think the true villain is Danzou, always was, and always will be.

BTW: Still will be cool if Gaint Robots were introduced :p
 
Yeah, if he won't go past 500 chapters it doesn't give time for another villain, not a very good one anyway. What would be the fun in it if they get defeated that fast before he finishes off at/around 500. At that point in Naruto, for someone to get defeated that fast it would have to be someone weak, I think.
 
Im pretty sure that someone like Danzou will have followers so yea its a big possibility.

Hmm, potential villans could resurface after Akatsuki be: Root and the Council, this a Civil war, then it could be a religeous group that venerate demons and gods, demons themselves that seek the power of the tailed beasts, then te tailed beasts, then Kyuubi and the Death God.(That last part is just me because I definetly want to see Naruto fight all the Kages, dead or otherwise).
