Naruto's army

Alright, my first thread. Take it, leave it, trash it, whatever. Just putting it out there.

Okay, that's out of the way. First off, we all know that Naruto has a special "power" to change people. He can make allies out of everyone. If you want an example, here you go:
Needs to be moved to Konoha Library or thrashed

Also, it should be obvious that Naruto is the child of prophesy, destined to revolutionize the ninja world and bring world peace, or destroy it.

The toad sage also says that Jiraiya's choice will determine which direction the revolution will go. Seems pretty simple, right? I think Kishimoto might be trying to pull a fast one on us. The sage said nothing of how the revolution will begin, or carried out, but rather that it would be Jiraiya's decision that will allow Naruto to save the world. That decision being to never give up and writing on Pa toad his dying message.

But, how will Naruto do it? Sure he has some politically powerful friends, but not enough to bring world peace. Kirigakure, Iwagakure, and Kumogakure haven't been introduced yet, so unless they disappear, it'll require off-panel activity in order to happen. I think Kishimoto has already given us the answer to that question, though. Remember when Sasuke went to recruit Karin? Most were focused simply on the addition of the new "Sauce-girl", however, they seemed to overlook this page:
Needs to be moved to Konoha Library or thrashed
Its pretty much a given that Naruto will change Sasuke (using his special power) sometime before the end of the manga. However, I believe that Sasuke and his future followers [shin obi and farmers(maybe) from around the world] will become a part of Naruto's revolution. Imagine a hierarchy if you will, with Naruto at the top and Sasuke as his second in command. There are other possibilities of course: Naruto dieing and Sasuke taking up his mantle, or Sasuke dieing and ordering his followers to believe in Naruto.

I had more, but I can't remember it right now. Anyway, to sum my thoughts up: In order for Naruto to bring peace to the shinobi world, he will have to save Sasuke, who, along with his spread out faction, will concede to Naruto out of gratitude and respect, thus creating a revolution where his nindo is carried throughout the army.

A bit of speculation, I know, but I thought it was interesting.

Naruto Doesn't want a army he wants to be friends with everyone becuase he wasn't when he was younger becuase of the Kyuubi Now everyone that faught Naruto beleave in Naruto becuase He wont Mistrust There trust and they can count on him

He also wants to be Hokage, which is not only a village leader, but also the general in charge of the military force, so yeah. Again, just kinda putting it out there.

Naruto does seem to have the ability to change people or encourage people as seen with Neji and others, and at some Sasuke as well. But he can not make an ally out of everyone. Some villians are an exception to this.

Though Naruto wishes to defeat Akatsuki, save Sasuke, and become Hokage, he is also not the type to have an army. People may support him, but he is not willing to put so many people into danger just for his sake. He also has some pride and will accomplish somethings indepently with the support of a few friends. Though the moral of hte manga is bonds and teamwork, I do not belive it will be seen to this extent. He may have many people respecting him and putting faith into him though. Something I see prior to him becoming Hokage.

If there was to be a new war! I reckon it would consist of pain and his rain village vs naruto and konoha!(with sasuke, who knows)

I know. Which is why I don't understand how he will bring world peace. Maybe army was a bad word to pick. I meant it more in the sense of discples, spreading Naruto's philosophy throughout the world. Also, as I stated above, he does want to be Hokage, which is the leader of an army, so its not that farfetched.

I like the thread, it's a pretty interesting idea...seems feasible to me, but I think if Naruto did have an army it wouldn't be in the typical sense. His army would be Konoha and its inhabitants, and as Hokage, Naruto would lead by example, trying to change whole nations at a time through the precedents he would set.

naruto will force peace by destroying all the bad guys by replicateing 100,000,000 times. I mean wouldnt that be insane if naruto did that lol. Its will be called the naruto army, and he can be everywhere all at once :p

Well, that sounds plausible I guess. I'd also say that his main fighters who lead part of the armies would be the rookie 9 and Team 10 as well as guys like Team Hebi, and important strong characters

Unlikely, in my opinion. I think we're looking more at a Revolution of Ideas, with Naruto managing to change the way Ninja think about the World and Themselves. They will no longer view themselves as Weapons to be used (or view other Ninja that way), and they will start to see Peace not as an interlude between the last and next war, but as the prize that you fight for in the first place. It's more or less what Shodai and Sandaime, and many other prominent Konoha Shinobi, think of the world, but he's the one whose going to spread it.

Pain is also trying to pull off a Revolution if Ideas, in his case to put people off War by forcing them to "mature" via the threat of total annihilation, and from the Pain that is caused when an example of that threat is first used.
He does'nt have much ofan army eiter, certainly not enough to take on the whole world.

I think the Army idea is what Madara tried out before joining hands with Shodai to found Konoha (and what they argued about because he wanted to get it back on track), with Madara conquering the World because he was Ideologically driven to do so. His army was a revolutionary army also, though he failed to achieve his goals (that time).
