I will say one thing, If Sasuke gained MS, I?d be pissed. Why? I just hate it. People with MS fights just aren?t that entertaining, they just stand there and eye rape someone. Sasuke said he would obtain power his own way; he won't take the route Itachi used. I think Kishimoto hasn't forgotten that therefore Sasuke will not obtain MS, which is the main source of Itachi's power, Sasuke will bring the Sharingan to the next level and his eyes will surpass Madara's and Itachi's. I don't necessarily know what the next level means. Or maybe Sasuke will obtain a higher form of CS by himself, which I personally like better than a high sharingan form. That will be like a super saiyan form.
Of course Sasuke has PLENTY more to grow. He has a sword right? We've barely seen him use it. He will train in basic combat of a sword and will become a great swordsman even better than even Zabuzza. His style will be quick with power like Ichigo's instead of major power swings like Zabuzza and Kisame.
Sasuke is capable of becoming one of the best swordsmen in this manga, and also the biggest rival for Naruto. Naruto was left in the dust by Sasuke's huge growth but I can assure you all, Naruto will become great and here's why.
Forget about the bloody key training hax. Ever since Naruto pimp slapped Sakura with 4 tails and Yamato confronted him, he promised he would never use its power again. Yamato pointed out it was not his own power, it doesn't make him any stronger as it only weakens the seal and he isn't growing skills from it, which is why I personally think is the reason for his lack of growth during time skip, but not only that Yamato said as long as he's with Naruto he will prevent Naruto from going kyuubi at all costs.
With Jiraiya out of the way, which I personally think was a bad teacher choice for Naruto as I assume he concentrated on Naruto's kyuubi form during "training", Naruto is forced to mature and train in his base form enhancing his battle skills. Ebisu would have suited Naruto due to Naruto's lack of basic fundamentals of battle and Ebisu's mastery of it, but let's not dwell on the past here.
We all know Pein is coming right? Pein kills his targets friends and family. Naruto will leave then to protect them. Since Naruto will be a background ninja for a while Sasuke, Kakashi and Sakura get the spotlight, Naruto may be forced to go to travel to Toad Sage Mountain with Ma and Pa to train with Toad Sages. Wouldn?t you rather see flashes of Naruto on some entertaining adventure to Toad Sage Mountain beating foes and making friends, going on a long journey like Goku in Dragon Ball. Then he reaches the destination and trains becoming awesome. Or would you rather see Naruto in the background being a general annoyance with his lack of skill chasing Sasuke like a pregnant woman craving chocolate.
Then after failing bringing Sasuke back he'll get key training hax in background too. No thanks; I?m for a long exciting journey to gain skill, wisdom and power. Maybe there is a Snake and Snail Sage. He could meet them too and we could learn a lot from them. Maybe Naruto could figure out to defeat Orochimaru, who proves to be immortal, from the snake sage but he will have to complete some difficult task for him. That?d be awesome right? Im not saying Naruto will defeat Orochimaru, but he will figure out how to and tell, who knows, maybe he could defeat Oro since Sasuke failed at it.
Eventually Naruto and Sasuke will be on equal terms and they will team up to defeat some bigger foe together like Madara. Madara caused Naruto to not have parents and be container of demon fox causing the village to shun him, and Madara helped kill Sasuke?s clan with Itachi so Sasuke want?s revenge on him after Itachi. That?s why Naruto and Sasuke should defeat Madara, TOGETHER! And they can sure a fire pull it off...........BYAH!
