nagato or yahiko wich is it

Library question, moving :)

(My answer is Nagato with the ability to control what's left of Yahiko).

It's definitely some sort of combination of both Yahiko and Nagato. If it was just Nagato or Yahiko, Jiraiya wouldn't have been so shocked when he discovered Pein's true identity. If that was the case even if he was shocked, Jiraiya would have just said something like, "I knew it!".
 
It cant be Yahiko b/c all the bodies are ninja that jiraya had met and, well, dead now.
For Jiraya to find out who he is then there must be someone he knew, there's something to do with Nagato obviously b/c of the eyes but also since Konan is with him and they are doing great as partners, like... old friends? I dont know, it might be a complete different person but still he's using Yahiko's body, Nagato's eyes and Konan as partner. All we do know
 
i hav a theroy of my own i think that it is nagato contoling yahiko's body (because reigan can contol meatal) wich is the reason for all the percings on the six paths of pein and i think that he's just sitting back somwhere and thats also why jiriya could n't figure out who was nagato wich makes me think just how powerful is nagaro's real form and will they ever tell you the truth. but thanks for telling me your therory's it helped me find out more about this stranger.
 
Well I don't think he's Nagato or Yahiko.

Pein clearly said Yahiko was dead, and there's no reason to believe he was lying. Plus Pein said that Jiraiya would've won if he knew his secret. Knowing that Pein was Yahiko wouldn't have helped Jiraiya at all. So I think we can rule out Yahiko.

I also don't think Pein is Nagato. Mainly because Jiraiya was surprised when he figured out who Pein was. He thought it was Nagato all along, and if he was right then it wouldn't have made sense for him to be surprised.

So I don't think Pein is either one of them. Maybe somebody else, some other former student of Jiraiya's is using Nagato's eyes and Yahiko's body.

i understand what your saying, but how on earth could he realise that they are yahiko and nagato combined??? its impossible dude
