Madaras failed ? Wait a second, Madara means Fail.
You could have titled the thread just "Madara" and everyone would know it's about epic failure.
 
Technically he has not failed yet, as Orochimaru hasn't used the opportunity to strike. Though I suppose it is a possibility for Chapter 394. However, until the sighting of the snake at the end of the chapter is clarified I will assume he is still "sealed".
 
I didn't even know we knew about Madaras plan? Everything here are just wild speculations based on some sentences.
 
There is still room for his plan to succeed ... wait ... what exactly is his plan here?

Madara possibly needs a strong Uchiha for his plan.

Sasuke can easily replace Itachi in whatever he has cooking :edu

Oro almost destroyed Konoha with 10yrs prep. Madara burned a couple of trees and got another hokage style ass whooping after 60 years of PREP.

No he didn't say that. Thats how you would interpret their conversation, but that's nowhere near of the actual discussion they had.
 
When hasnt Madararas plans failed? He had the ultimate form of Sharingan, the ems, he fought the first hokage, results.....he got his as kicked. He waited a hundred years to make sure the first hokage was really dead. He came back again with another plan, to use the kyuubi. That plan was foiled as well. Its just failure after failure racking up. No wonder he wears a mask. I would wear a mask and hide from everyone too if i was made up of this much failure.
 
Madara has a real knack for failing. I mean, he failed against Shodai, he failed against Yondaime, and now he's failed against Orochimaru. It looks like there will never be a time where Madara won't fail.
