Madara = Immortal ?

Is there a possibility that Madara is completely invincible?

At first look at this picture from Naruto chapter 393:

As you can see, Zetzu stated that Itachi is invincible with the help of Susano'o... with a high risk/high chance to die from that jutsu.
But..couldn't it be, that the EMS allows Madara to use the techniques of Mangekyo Sharingan infinite with completely no risk?

This brings me to another story. Some of the guys in this forum had some theorys about akatsuki. They predicted, that all members want to be immortal.
The Susano'o jutsu makes Itachi invincible but Itachi also mentioned in one chapter, that the EMS allows you to use another eye jutsu. Maybe this has something to do with the fact, that Madara is still alive...and when you listen to the voice of TOBI in Shippuuden you also know that he's still young. Another mysterious thing about Madara is that he can't be hit in any way as you could see in Deidara vs. Sasuke or where Naruto pierces him with Rasengan.

I say Madara is invincible because of Susano'o. In my opinion the secret behind his long life and his youth lies in the 4th technique that Itachi mentioned. Maybe Naruto and the Konoha ninjas have to seal him away to kill him. xD What do you guys think?

You should change the title as your theory talks about invincibility, not immortality, they aren't the same thing.

Anyway, we are lacking to much information about Madara's immortality, but I don't think he is unkillable, there needs to be some resolution at the end rather then leaving Madara as a lingering threat, sealed or not.
 
It could be the case, but we can't say that madara can perform Susano'o. It seems that every MS has it's own jutsu. There fore, we can't say that Itachi will get the same jutsu that made Madara inmortal (if that was the case).

It could be that if Itachi got the EMS, then he could do these three jutsus whith out risks, but i don't think he'll get the jutsu that makes him inmortal. He could get really powerful thanks to a non self harmful Susano'o, but not invinsible, cause surely he needs chackra to keep it working. It has not been stated that EMS gives unlimited chackra, therefore, Itachi wouldn't be able to have a permanent Susano'o during a whole battle.

Invincible immortal?That was crapp dude,Madara is no immortal i terms of invincible,he found some way just like Oro to transfer his soul in another body or something like that.Why do Itachi caled him a pathetik shell of his former self,think about it,immortals dont weaken over time.The EMS gives him the ability to use it without to become blind as a bat,not to have unlimited chakra or to decompose.The strongest feature of the Ms is that can control the bijuu.Other than that Madara is the most overrated character :zaru
 
Itachi calls Madara an "invincible immortal" in the manga, unless thats some sort of translation error but this is coming from the same guy that thought he would have no problem taking Sasuke's eyes and that a regular sharinningan was no match for an MS.

I think Madara is some other kind of craziness that no one will see coming, like the eye plucking part. I don't think Kishi would make it easy or possible to figure out the rest of the story.

besides from that if he was immortal you would only have to cut his head off.............now seriously, maybe he doesn't age but I'm sure he can die.
and in the end he's gonna die when naruto and sasuke use the PnJ.
 
The true curse of the Uchiha. Sure you may get the ultimate sharingan, and you get to live forever, but you get to spend that eternity getting your ass pwned by 17 year olds.
 
If ur theory is correct wouldnt it mean yasha's tengu theory is wrong.Cause it states that madara needed the kyuubi's chakra 2 beat the tengu king.If ur theory is correct madara would be invincible and wouldnt need the kyuubi's chakra to beat the tengu king(the tengu king wouldnt have the sharingan because the sharingan is a mix of the byakugan and tengu blood).
 
Itachi stated that...

In chapter 386 Itachi says: "The only one who can surpass him, surpass the invincible Madara and achieve true immortality, is me"

The power of EMS obviously gives some sort of invincibility, but yet Itachi didn't consider Madara to be a "true" immortal.
