I've realised why Bleach Anime > Naruto Anime

YoYo

Turkish till I Die
It's because Naruto is a superior series.

Pierrot can't afford to stretch out bleach and do 1 chapter episodes because well, it wouldn't work. There's so little to work with the series is forced into being good.

None of the fights are tactically complex, none of them have any backstory to them, there's nothing for them to strech out and regrettably all the characters albeit interesting don't have any real motives. Theres no room for huge amount of pointless dialogue. Hell there's not even any real message or symbolism in the series, it is essentially just a constant onslaught of fights lacking a raison d'etre. There's not even any decent flashbacks that they can fill up episodes with. Obviosly the episodes where plot does come into affect. (Orihime leaving, Flashacks to Kaien and Ikkaku) They do do iit well, but these are so few and far between that the series can't afford to go slower.

Not that; I'm complaining, I love bleach anime. But the reason it doesn't suck is because it's source material is so lame in comparison to Naruto.

Thinking about it, you may have a point there. But who doesnt like mindless fight scenes with no motives or a complex agenda behind them? Thats why most people love Bleach, because of the fight scenes.

Well thats why I like Bleach I guess. The plot is just a bonus!

You're giving Naruto way too much credit. It does have a better theme and characters are better related to each other. But I am not sure you if your keeping up with the series or not because Part 2 Naruto is a major drop off in terms of quality and story.

Agreed with that. I think they are doing it because of popularity difference.

Naruto is probably more popular so they need to use more effort on Bleach in order for it to catch up.

Um, incase you haven't really noticed, Shippuden pretty much blows because of all that.

If there's one thing I can't stand when it comes to "manga turned anime" anime, it's when they try to stretch one chapter into an entire episode. It sucks because they usually have to put filler into it, and very rarely is that ever good. Sure, you get a few gems here and there, but majority wise, it pretty much blows.

You wanna know one of the main reasons the Bleach anime is far superior to Shippuden? It's because Kubo is heavily involved in it. He helps out by drawing the character designs for the episode. Plus, putting more than one chapter into an episode makes the pace a hell of a lot more better. Also, judging from the pretty consistent quality it has, I think it's safe to assume that they have a better budget and know how to use it.

I'm pretty sure if Pierrot wanted to stretch an entire chapter into one episode, they could. Hell, they've done it before. They just don't want to obviously.

Its because the shippuuden anime is so shitty that bleach anime is waay better then it, not because of anything to do with the manga's.

And the anime directors in bleach are WAY better then the ones in naruto. Atleast till the sasuke defection was when the anime team was good. Then it all turned to shit with the fillers and it just tracked into shippuuden. Making the characters look like jokes and everything. "THE SEED GOES IN THE CRAPPER! : D" Kabuto fighting off bees and such. They really just turned it into a joke. Whereas with bleach its still going fine...

I thought it was because Narutards focus on relationships, and Bleachbakas elevate characters that are nearly useless in the canon to God-like levels. :zaru

Also the fact that the animators of Naruto Shippuden are QUALITY

Last few episodes of Bleach have been WAY better then NS's animation.

Cant even remember the last NS that didn't look like ass.

That reminds me of grappler Baki. I watched that series for the fights and then suddenly around episode 8 said to myself, "Wait a second, they snuck a plot in here!". :laugh

I can. Since last week. Oh wait, this week as well
Oh shit, next week will be awesome as well.
Your point being?

A Turd with sprinkles may be better than a plain turd, but in essence, they are both still turds

Naruto in part 1 was leaps and bounds better than the Bleach anime.

Right now Bleach is much better than the CRAP that is Shippudden.

Well its not an big of an achievement to be leagues ahead of Shippuiden which is the worst anime i ever seen.

Only anime that is close to Shippuiden in crappiness is the original Hellsing-series out of the series i watched.

:rotfl:rotfl Thank God!

QFT, I enjoyed Naruto more in part one than naruto and I kinda lost track of bleach, but eversince shippuuden got so bad I enjoy Bleach anime tons more.

I just enjoy watching Bleach and Naruto. They are different, but the characters and the story fits well.

Could be...

I loved Naruto part 1 more than Bleach, though I loved Bleach. Now I find myself not even watching some of the Naruto Shippuden episodes as I found 'em incredibly boring. Some were wonderful, but a lot were just boring.

I only watch NS when they animate fights that I'm interested in. NS is to fucking slow. Sakura ran to 4TN so fast in the manga it took around 3 panels and one which she was only a blur. In Shitpooden (thx) it took half the fucking episode. I've only watched about 6 episodes of it.

Bleach has better animation and it stays consistent (except with the OVA quality episodes every once in a while) and the sword battles look alot more interesting then the crappy fights in Naruto. The fact I much prefer Bleach's art style to Naruto's and NS' also makes it the superior anime to me.

Informative good post is informative and good.

I haven't watched Naruto in months, when I wisely decided to quit. What's this about Kabuto fighting off bees? :lmao

They both suck ass in all honesty. Just that Naruto is for 6 year olds and Bleach is for 10 year olds. Bleach is slightly better because they use up more chapters. Compared to other animes out there, they stand no chance.

Wrong. Naruto: 8-12, Bleach: 13-16

Well I don't think i need to say it again, but the problem with Naruto Shippuuden is it's pacing. It's incredibly slow and uninteresting. Too many flashbacks that have no real point to them. Part 1 of Naruto was much better.

Well I had thought of that, and I'm glad people think the same.

Bleach anime > Naruto anime because they show more than panning landscapes, and the characters are able to speak without a five second pause between each phrase.
