If it is CS, then it's because Itachi took it into himself with Susano'o...and consequently took in Oro as well. NOBODY wants that...except maybe Ackwell.
More likely, it's a result of that arm being burned by Sasuke's Katons.

OMG, I can't believe I said that. Everyone knows Katons are fail! I failed for even suggesting that Katons could hurt anyone.

I made a thread on it earlier. Sasukes actually managed to make a katon that could hurt his opponent. We went from katons that couldn't melt ice, to katons that could pop clones, to katons that can hurt the user, and finally to katons that hurt the enemy. With ant luck Sasuke might take it to a level to where it can actually kill people.

Most likely from Sasuke's Katon or perhaps an injury from summoning Susano-O which is an unlikely possibility so I guess I'll stick with the Katon injuries.
