Itachi Tells Sasuke to take his eyes

It seems Itachi is telling Sasuke to take his eyes. He is not trying to take Sasuke's eyes. In one panel, he is smiling after saying something to Sasuke that we do not know what. By why would he smile when he knows that he is about to die. So he is not smile because he is about to get the eyes but rather at Sasuke's growth.

And also, the way he said it "My Eyes...." sounds like "Sasuke! Take my eyes!!"

Another reason is, he could have use Susanoo much sooner and defeat Sasuke yet he wait till he use up all of his chakra knowing using it in that state comes at such great risk. If you use up all your chakra, you could die according to Kakashi. So why would he waste so much chakra before using Susanoo?

Maybe he wanted to die for whatever guilt that he felt about his clan. Maybe the guilt of not being able to protect the clan, especially his mom and dad when Mardara attack and is forced to participate in killing his clan. Also, with his death, Sasuke can take his eyes without having to feel the guilt himself for taking his brother's eyes.

These are all the subtle indications that Itachi is after all wanting Sasuke to grow stronger than he is and wanting Sasuke to avenge the Clan.
 
If that happens maybe it will redeem this fight. There's a definately a twist comming. Kishi just wanted to put it in the next chapter.
 
When Itachi smiles it means something. I kind of like this idea.

Just waiting until next week to find out is going to suck in a major way.
 
Well Sasuke needs a new power up with Oro's power gone but Itachi's eyes aren't much use unless he tells Sasuke of another way to unlock MS

itachi says that madara's brother eyes found a new light with the transfer, perhaps itachi's eyes will find a new light with sasuke


but sasuke would get ems so...
 
yeah because i blind guy could walk through all those rocks, glare at Sasuke, and flick him in the forehead ................... right

He'll take the eyes, the "rules" never say what condition they have to be in.


But i doubt we will know until like, a million chapters later, just like we still dont know who Jiraya thinks Pain is.
 
Don't think so the last page seemed that Itachi's eyes condition is precarious

It's kind of like a bitter sweet symphony, which is also the name of a song btw. It al works together if you think about it. Itachi tested Sasuke's ability to withstand all his different techniques, then died allowing Sasuke to fulfill the EMS requirements without having to be a murderer to do it. It's well planned and I believe that is how Kishi will take this.

You might be right about Itachi giving his eyes for Sasuke and the guilt he has for his clan. Itachi probably demonstrate in their fight what a Mangekyou Sharingan is capable of in order for Sasuke to easily used it against Madara.
 
I don't think Sasuke would want Itachi's eyes after all this, even if it were his last wish. Also, why would he want a pair of eyes that are ruined? Itachi is pretty much blind. From what we know, it doesn't heal the sharingan by just putting them in a new pair of eye sockets.

What do you mean Sasuke doesn't want Itachi's eyes? Both Mardara and his little brother obtain MS at the same time. If Mardara eyes go blind, we can also assume that his little brother's eyes go blind as well. Why would Mardara wants his little brother's eyes when they are blind like his? The answer is by switching body, his little brother's eyes find new lights and also obtain EMS. Itachi also said something about EMS given the user one more eye jutsu.

So why wouldn't Sasuke take Itachi's eyes? And we still don't know what the heck is Itachi said to Sasuke at the end before he dies.

If he said something like "Your eyes are mine" then why would Sasuke look shock and confuse with question mark all over his face? Itachi said something like that a thousand of times before.

And do you really think that Itachi misses Sasuke's eyes and poke his forehead instead? You have to be naive to think that is the case. I believe that Itachi is really poking Sasuke's forehead as an older brother playing with his little brother one last time before he dies. It is like a reminiscence of the good time they had together. It is like "One more time for old times sake".

Sasuke has always want to follow his brother's footstep. To him Itachi is the most important thing in the world. He looks up to his brother more than he does with his father. That only change because he believes Itachi killed his clan. It is like a metaphor the more you idolize someone, the more you feel betray by that person if that person do something different from what you envision. Hence, the madder you become with that person.

If Itachi turns out to be the kind of brother that Sasuke look up to in the past, you don't think Sasuke would honor his last wish? Sasuke not only honor Itachi's last wish, but he would actually goes crazy if he finds out that he wrongfully accuse his brother and Mardara is the cause for all this.

Sasuke would go insane on Mardara. You thought that he is merciless on Itachi, he would be 10 times more fearsome in his battle with Mardara.

itachi after the ems to surpass madara is a sig...

and sasuke could do nothing against the susanoo
 
I totally agree with muishot, and some others on here about how Itachi would want his brother to take his eyes. I really do think it's going to happen that way, I really can't wait to see what sasuke will do after this point and if it turns out that madara was behind all of this, then sasuke would have one nasty goal to take care of and that would be to split madara's head appart. We'll have to wait and see.
 
If he is telling him to take his eyes then they could end up the same as Kakashi's MS. An MS through the gift of the sharingan instead of the theft of one. :oh
