Itachi + Minato VS Pein + other akatsuki that is not madara

Minato has knowledge of Deidara's jutsu's through Itachi and he takes him out within two seconds with Hiraishin.
 
Itachi Amaterasus Deidara while he shapes himself into that black ball of whatever. Or Susanoo just seals him.
 
Also, Itachi has unlimited chakra so he can spam the three MS techniques he has as much as he wants, lol.

This is almost criminal, it's a slaughter.

Itachi knows about the self-destruct how? Zetsu only said that deidara blew himself up, omitting the all important details such as it was 10km wide and warped the fucking SKY.

Since they're going to think to target a random black ball when there are 8+ S-Ranked Nins running around including pein and mandara.
Since mandara with his EMS won't be able to spam them just as much or anything
 
Madara isn't there. Deidara will make his speech about how he'll self destruct and how it's art and shit.

You think Pain and the others are gonna be worried about Minato and Itachi when they're about to get killed too? Either fatty absorbs it all, or Itachi stops it.

You think that itachi and minato will notice deidara turning into a random ball when getting mobbed by several s-ranked nins
 
Minato and Pein possible kill eachother.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but with Susano'o and the Totsuka no Tsurugi, I'd say Itachi solos the rest, or at least comes damn close to doing so.

Tough call.
 
Minato and Itachi would be a very tough team..but they are fighting a lot of strong opponents and Pein... I think Minato and Itachi potentially lose, but they would put up one hell of a fight
 
I'm surprised at the amount of people that say that Itachi and Minato win.

Minato at most can beat Pein and Konan. Itachi gets raped by Sasori + Kakuzu. The rest of Akatsuki isn't needed.
 
If he can be paired with anybody then I suppose he would most likely win. As of now we have yet to see the full extent (in my opinion at least) of Susano'o, and if the Totsuka can potentially effect Pein (seeing as he escaped the Kaneshibari). Minato may be able to defeat the "other" shinobi but not without cost. I assume any of the members are skilled enough to take away something before they are defeated. At any rate, the Amaterasu will defeat a number of bodies, though in the end it seems as if Pein and co. will prevail mainly due to the durability that Pein possesses.
 
lol lot of unpredictable and unknown factors.



I'll put the battle like this with lot of generous assumption on the characters:
First analysis of the characters.

Konan, though looks not so dangerous in attack could be very good in defending herself with papers.
Only way that she may be defeated/killed could be Itachi burning away all of her Origami with Fire unless Minato knows Jiraiya's oil jutsu but I am assuming he doesn't.

Kisame could be assumed to know all/most of water jutsus we have seen so far.

Sasori could be assumed to have all the puppets (even the ones he lost in his fight with the 2 kuniochis for the sake of a good fight) he ever had to be in his possession for the fight.

Pein's abilities are mostly unknown and so is the power of his Rin'nengan. I will generously give all 6 bodies we have seen to be in use for Pein in this fight. So that means two of the Pein's power is known.
Fuuma Pein, with ability of summoning with use of seals and "Fat" Pein who can absorb jutsus.
Also, Pein is also well-versed in all 6 elements.

Zetsu is the most unknown factor and without knowledge of his strength, the fight is just wild speculation.

Hidan, you know....immortal dude.

Kakuzo, the one with five hearts (all intact) and I will give him ability in all 5 elemental jutsus.

Deidara, I will give him all ability we have seen in this manga.



Itachi's arsenal's most powerful jutsus can be assumed to seen by us. I will generously give him the ability to use Tsukiyomi twice, Amaterasu once and Susano once without much harm to his sight in this fight. Keep in mind, that he is incredibly fast, expert in weapons (arguably), knows Uchiha Fire elemental jutsus, have variety of genjutsus, probably highly skilled in taijustsus and possibly has good knowledge and usage of many ninjutsus.
Also, remember the ability of Sharingan to copy ninjutsus.

Minato, the jutsus we know in his arsenal are Hiraishin, Rasengan and Death God jutsu.
We can assume that he knows some other jutsus to.

Minato and Itachi wins.
