Alright guys, I just want to point out a couple of things and some possibilities and assumptions.

Pein - Remember how he can resurrect people? Will maybe he will come to resurrect itachi considering Itachi is rather valuable to Madara at the moment

Kisame - KISAME IS STILL IN THE AREA! I highly fucking doubt that Kisame will let Itachi die, Kisame is only 1 mile away from itachi.

Madara/Tobi - Madara or Tobi may make a appearance in the next chapter or the upcoming chapters,

Sorry for the double post, but have we forgotten Pein is the god of the manga?
I sure he can get there within hours, or Kisame can just bring him to a secret location where Pein can resurrect Itachi for the needs of madara.

I donno, he seems pretty dead to me... Personally I think it would be kind of lame if he just sort of gets up in a "zombie-esque" fashion and was like "ha ha you thought I was dead but I was just playin'"

1) If Pein can raise people from the dead, why not raise all the other Akatsuki who have died?

2) I don't think Kisame really gives a damn about Itachi. If Kisame saw Itachi die, more or likely his response would be to think he was weak for having been defeated. Plus, Kisame is getting watched by Hebi right now to really just charge in and be like "dun da dun dun dun da dun! Cavalry is here!."

3) Evidence has been pointing to what seems like Madara wanting Sasuke to kill Itachi. That Madara has been eyeing Sasuke's development and wanted this to happen. That is why he is stopping the Konoha squad from crashing the Uchiha fight.

Well that wouldn't really be the real Itachi. It will just be a dead Itachi being controlled by Pein. Plus, it's kinda obvious that Itachi's eyes are pretty much done. There's also the fact that Pein replaces his bodies eyes with his own eyes. So Itachi's arsenal would be gone.(MS- Tsukyomi, Amaretsu, and Susano'o)

But he is fighting Suigetsu and possibly the other two. Kisame also doesn't know that Itachi is dying. All he knows is that Itachi is fighting Sasuke and I think even Kisame assumes that Sasuke doesn't have a chance against Itachi. So Kisame isn't worried.

Madara/Tobi - Madara or Tobi may make a appearance in the next chapter or the upcoming chapters,

He's fighting Team 7. If by some off chance that he somehow does go to the scene, he wouldn't save Itachi.

Itachi is an alright character, but his purpose in the story is over. It's time for Madara to step in.

i want itachi to live but i don't think that's going to happen

1) I don't want zombie itachi and also, i don't think itachi is important to madara as you think he is, it's all about the eyes. he prob wants sasuke's eyes for himself

2) Kisame as far as been shown has not much of a plot relevance to itachi. He prob wouldn't care as much. He might save itachi if he was around, but right now he is a little preoccupied with team hebi and unless his shark senses are tingling prob has no idea what has happened to itachi. They could have seen kirin, huge snake oro and susanoo from afar, and maybe what they're doing and go check it out...?

3) Madara/Tobi is a little busy making fun of team konoha atm.

Yeah, I think hes going to die.. there isnt much use for him anymore really, with Sasuke's full power shown, Itachi really has no use for the story anymore.
