Im sorry but i cannot accept that one of the most badass, mentally twisted, most developed characters fall from: not a fireball jutsu, not a rasengan, not even Kirin but from a heart attack/fatigue when he was so close. All just for kishi to save sasuke COME THE HELL ON!!! i appreciate that he may not be dead but still....
 
We all knew a death like this was coming >_> chakra depletion/exertion.. it's been forshadowed for forever.. sasuke and chidori training.. lee with gates... 8th gate.. overuse of kage bunshins, etc. Too bad for Itachi though.. why'd he underestimate sasuke so much :facepalm
 
he's dead
in the last panel, he's staring lifelessly up at the sky, no breathing text anywhere nearr him, like sasuke has. if he was kocked out, his eyes would be closed. if he just fell from fatigue and is still alive, he'd be breathing hard.
itachi died. it's the cold hard truth. accept it

Itachi is just really exhausted from all of the chakra he's used... However i think he's used too much and he may die..
 
Yeah, he isnt dead yet, im sure he still has some dying words or something left in him.
 
Well, I guess it's possible that Itachi just collapsed for now, and that he will say some final words in the next chapter or something like that, but I do believe he will die eventually, or rather he is probably already dying . . . :(
 
It will get easier for you soon, the pain and anger will subside.

But he's definitely done for.
 
Well, at least know that he didn't fail. Itachi did exactly what he wanted to do, because if he really wanted Sasuke's eyes he would have just taken them. He wanted to poke Sasuke on the head, and he accomplished it.

I thought I had Itachi figured out, then he started talking about that eye stealing business and now this. Still an interesting character, even after dying.
 
He will always live in my heart, making completely inappropriate comments.
Mostly at Sasuke's expense.

He's not dead yet, but I think it's safe to say that maybe after a word or two Itachi will be gone. His character will end on an interesting not so it's not like his death was shameful.
 
He's probably dead already. Whats the point of the inaudible words just before he collapsed if he lives on longer to tell Sasuke something else.
 
Itachi and Jiraya will be fighting in the Valhalla of the Ninjas, discussing hot womens and reading porno magazines
 
He's going to be dead, regardless. He took off his cloak. We all know what happens to Akatsuki when their cloaks come off.

Itachi Uchiha collapsed because chakra loss,injuries/blood loss or bolth

Itachi was very beat up and had little chakra wend he used susanoo

injuries include

-Blood loss on the eyes(Pain in the eyes?) done by Itachi using using Tsukuyomi,Amatarasu and Susanoo
-injury on his leg/ blood lost done by Sasuke Windmill Shuriken
-Burned arm done by Sasuke Great Dragon Fire

Everybody's gonna die eventually (except me I happen to be immortal) Itachi I believe is gonna die immediately.
 
His "death" feels too incomplete... I don't really feel as if he is dead yet. And if he is, I think his last words to Sasuke must have been very interesting, and will be revealed next chapter.
