Nice fight: my instinct is that the ball is in Team Kakashi's court, as Sasuke can come close against either of his opponents and provides information, while he might also prove a good dispeller against Itachi's genjutsu. There's a lot of power, intelligence and tactical opportunities between Kakashi, Gai and Naruto, and Asuma (while disadvantaged for having shown little) can be helpful.

It's close, though, thanks to Itachi's best jutsu and how hard Orochimaru is to kill.
 
Orochimaru can likely take Kakashi, Gai, and Asuma easily. He just needs to hold back Naruto till Itachi kills Sasuke. And since he's bloodlusted, it won't take long. From there on, rape.
 
Keep in mind that Itachi is bloodlusted; as well as Sasuke and Naruto.


Itachi has proven that Sasuke is really not a match for him when he is bloodlusted. In addition, in this fight he is not suffering for blindness.


Naruto being bloodlusted will cause him to make rash decisions that can easily be exploited by Orochimaru's sneak attacks.
 
I give it to Team Kakashi because and only because thers no Edo Tensai if there was now that would of been a good fight this is kinda unfair because of Kakashis MS Gai's 6th gate naruto's KN4 Sasuke bieng on Steroids from kishi and asuma just chilin.
 
I'd say the outcome of the fight depends on Itachi's ability to control the kyuubi and whether or not Sasuke can counter Itachi's control. Orochimaru would dispatch Asuma and Gai in no time and I havn't seen any weapon in Kakashi's arsenal that puts him on a level playing field with Orochimaru. If Naruto is prevented from using the kyuubi, Itachi would make quick work of him. Sasuke would be able to hold off Itachi, but when Oro steps in along side Itachi this fight is over.

I used to think Kakashi and Gai could defeat Orochimaru, in a very close fight, thanks to working together. Might be a little too hard for them now, but they have more support than that. Sasuke can hold off Itachi for a long time ? we're seeing him do that right now. So if those two do fight a one-on-one, that's Orochimaru against Kakashi, Gai, Asuma and Naruto. You really can't just hand wave the first three and then imagine Naruto has not moved a step before Orochimaru moves onto him.

Those four are definitely going to be dominating Orochimaru, at least if Orochimaru is too aggressive in style. He can't easily kill any one from those four if they work together in close coordination. Really though, both teams would work together, which makes it more complicated. (Sasuke shouldn't risk leaving the other four: it's in his interests to stay close to genjutsu debuff if need be. Itachi might switch target.)
 
If Naruto gets to start transforming (bloodlusted!), Itachi and Oro will have a hard time stopping him without being killed. Even without Kyuubi, Naruto's Tajuu Kage Bunshin makes this hard for Itachi, and strength in numbers+Henge tricks does in Itachi. From then, I just don't see Oro beating everyone there, although we don't know which summons he can use. Gai+Kakashi alone could give him a run for his money.
 
Sasuke is powerless against Susasano (sp?)



When Itachi is really going for the kill, Sasuke is unable to stop. Itachi halted Ameratsu to preserve Sasuke's body. He did not use Tsukiyomi to its fullest extent.


What if Oro fought Sasuke while Itachi occupied the Jounin? I don't see ANY of them surviving Ameratsu; MAYBE Kakashi.


And Susanno is unbeatable from what I can see.
 
Naruto using Kyūbi chakra is a bad idea: he'll stop being useful to his team, and become a third team on his own. And on top of that, Itachi may be able to stop it with the Mangekyō. Pray for Naruto not to use Kyūbi unless you want Itachi and Orochimaru to have this easy. Team Kakashi can win without that sort of raw power, and do better without it.

Empirejoao: susano'o provides defence by the shield, it looks like. Shields defend in one direction at a time. Itachi's going to have trouble from lots of kage bunshin (a thousand, perhaps) and heavy-hitting support.

nothing can beat a fully gated gai nothing :pek susanno is useless if it cant keep up with the enemy and since gai is an expect of fighting a person who possesses sharingan he will fuck up itachi first then if he wants he can let the others handle orochi but he might decide to solo :vegetant
 
When Itachi would fight serious and not like he did with Sasuke, to immbolize him,he would crush them all ,with one or two moves.Sasuke had luck and Oro in his fight vs Itachi,plus Itachi wanted on purpose not to kill him just to take his eyes. Asuma and Naruto are to weak to face Orochimaru alone.
 
Naruto and Sasuke working as a team could probably beat Itachi, while Gai, Kakashi, and Asuma could beat Orochimaru.

Kakashi said that with help of Naruto he can defeat Itachi
and if something can defeat Susanoo it is Kakashi's MS black hole jutsu- he will just suck it to another dimension with Itachi too

Sasuke with help of Asuma and Gai probably could take Orochimaru- but still hydra jutsu is a problem- Manda will probably stay at side with Oro so Sasuke wont summon him so only Naruto's Gamabunta can counter Yamata no jutsu
 
Team Naruto, as I'll call them, will probably win. This is a mega fight with two very strong teams, but this is how I see it.

Sasuke vs. Itachi: Sasuke has beaten Itachi as of Chapter 393. Saying that Itachi's bloodlusted doesn't take away his blindness. He was bloodlusted in the fight, yet he couldn't do more than lightly poke Sasuke in the head in the end. But it would be wise for Kakashi, Gai, Asuma and everyone else to stay out of the way because of their inability to hurt or hinder Susanoo.

Naruto vs. Orochimaru: Naruto goes to KN4 to take this. Kakashi, Gai and Asuma leave the area, and KN4 obliterates everything.

If Orochimaru were, however, allowed Edo Tensai, the battle would be a bit more interesting. He could get the Third and Fourth Hokage and sacrifice the Third (the weaker) to kill KN4. However, KN4 would be too hard to get hold off, and probably 'kill' the Third Hokage again, and end up being sacrificed to the Fourth Hokage, leaving Orochimaru against Kakashi, Gai, and Asuma. If I were them, I wouldn't at that point bother with tactical moves; I'd just send Gai to the 8th Gate if possible and watch him rapestomp Orochimaru. More on that coming.
If Gai can go to the 6th Gate at maximum, I'm still pretty sure that repeated punches will break Orochimaru down too many times for him to keep regenerating. What would be a very bad idea for Gai would be to go for Asakujaku: The Morning Peacock, because although it does huge amounts of damage and will probably split Orochimaru into 360 parts, it is only one set of hits, and puts more strain on Gai than necessary, and will allow Orochimaru to regenerate from it as if it were only one set of hits. If Gai keeps nailing him, then when Gai finally is unable to take the strain, Orochimaru should be virtually out of chakra. At that point, Kakashi should be able to go to 1st Gate and use Omote Renge: Forward Lotus followed by as powerful a Raikiri as he can do and punch through Orochimaru's no longer self-regenerating body.
If Gai does go to the 8th Gate, he'll probably put so many holes in Orochimaru per milli-second that he'll stop regenerating before Gai even dies. Then, one more punch and bang. Down goes Oro. :zaru
