Is Kabuto....?

Is Kabuto... Sai's brother? In the anime, it shows that Sai having bond with his brother in his little storybook that he drawn... and looking at the page where his brother is... it's kinda look like Kabuto when he was young.. Just a thought though...
 
It could happen, Kabuto does have a mysterious background as well if I remember.

But right now there is almost nothing we know on the matter.
 
Well yeah.. because Sai said that his brother was killed... but was he really got killed.. nobody knows.. plus, how he managed to get into Akatsuki and became Sasori's spy is unknown too..
 
If Kabuto was Sai's brother, wouldn't have they recognized each other when they met in Orochimaru' s lair? Also, I believe Sai said that he is at about the same age as his brother and he is not at the same age as Kabuto. Most likely, Suigetsu is Sai's brother since he would also be considered dead when he was a captive of Orochimaru.

They might not recognized each other cause they only seen each other when they were young. Sai said that his brother died long ago.. and that story didnt complete yet... So.. the thing is.. Kabuto didnt seen his storybook yet.. or maybe he recognized something when he saw it.

Kabuto would be the most likely candidate to be Sa?'s brother, if he is alive. The Root is known to have a number of war orphans in its ranks, and Kabuto is a war orphan. Kabuto and Sa?'s brother have grey hair. The fact that Kabuto went to Orochimaru could explain that Sa? was told that he died. Some unknown side-effects of Sasori's jutsu could explain his loss of memory of his little brother. The glasses, the change in personnality and general apparence could explain why Sa? didn't recognize Kabuto as his brother.

They were not that young back then and they are not very old now. It' s not like that decades have past. One of these geniuses, as it was stated they are, would have seen some resemblance.

Nobody in this manga is retarded like lois lane from Superman movies, Glasses would bot prevent Sai from Noticing who his brother was.

Ah, worst example ever :laugh Kabuto's relation with Nidaime has been supposed (not directly) something like three years ago, and not because of the grey hair smile-big

Who says that what he recalls is exactly what he was? Memories could have been wiped out in the process, or modified. Or even the Root could have create those modified memories in order to separate the two brothers.

To write in such big letters, you should do like Kabuto and get glasses. And since when are Sa?'s drawings in his book realistic? Even Sa? is not really recognizable at first glance...

Alright, Please look at Sai's panel carefully "No Doubt he looked into my past already". SO we can be sure that Kakashi knows about Sai's past.

For Kabuto to be Sai's brother, as an orphan he had to be taken in by Danzou,as an orphan he HAD to be apart of root.

However


Look on Kakashi's words.Kabuto was the son of a leaf doctor.
The fact that Kakashi knows that Kabuto was NOT a Anbu Member shoots the theory about Kabuto Being Sai's brother straight out the window.

Why? Because Kakashi knows something about Sa? even if he is in the Root? Man, he knows Sa? is in the Root thaks to Tsunade, it was easy for him to search after knowing this. It's not as if he knew all along things about Sa?, he only searched after finding out about the fact that he was in the Root.

Kabuto is different. What reasons did he have to search about that man, weak, poor ninja? He didn't even know that Kabuto was part of the Medical Squad (Kabuto said so in the Tsunade's arc) at one point :)

well his brother does have white hair and kabuto was found as a child.. but then again sai is a test tube baby so.....

I don't really believe in it, since I believe that he is dead, like Sa? said. But if he was to be alive, Kabuto seems to be the most likely candidate among the people we know. The most likely candidate overall woud be someone we don't know.

No, I had the theory that perhaps Suigetsu is Sai's brother. Suigetsu has a striking similarity to Sai's drawing; there teeth are the only distinguishable difference. Also, Suigetsu collects weapons just like Sai and his brother were supposed to be doing. The similarities are to great to ignore.
 
i think hes death is pretty concrete and they would have recongnized each other when they meet or atleast think they saw the other person before
 
so far the only person in the manga that might be Sai's brother is Suigetsu

that would make sense if Danzo sent Suigetsu to Orochimaru for some reason and Orochimaru used him for experiments...if you recall, Kabuto did say he wanted to use Sai to help with their experiments.
