Ikkaku [Bankai] vs Kira [Shikai]

For those of you who really don't remember, Kira's shikai doubles the weight [culmulatively] of anything it pokes.

This means that Ikkaku's already massive Bankai will weigh twice as much :amazed

...But can Kira stand up to Ikkaku's massive power?
 
Wabisuke will be broken before Ikkaku even reaches full power. That one strike might double the wieght but I'd rather have a heavy sword than no sword and seeing as Kira hasn't used kidou since the Academy one must assume it's not his strong suit
 
ikkaku bankai swings his big ass bankai until it reaches maximum power then simple swipe kira off the face of the planet

:vegetant this is a serious rapeage if he can weild that heavy thing so easily do you think doubling its weight is going to affect him in anyway :huh
 
poor kira is instantly disembowled/eviscerated effortlessly by ikkaku's bankai

ikkaku might allow kira some hits for fun first though
 
A little strategy would be more than enough to beat Ikkaku's bankai. Remember, Ikkaku's bankai is merely a huge mass of power. It's simply the same old Ikkaku with a very powerful weapon. Kira only needs to focus on evasion and simply touching Ikkaku's blades. Ikkaku's weapons preclude him from fast attacks ,and the only reason he won against Edorad is due to E's poor judgement.

ikkaku won against E because he is stronger than E

ikkaku tends to attack alot. increasing the weight of his shikai leaving him easier to attack. however bankai would just about rape kira as there would be no chance in hell to block it :p
 
Kira could very likely win. He just needs to dodge one or two attacks, and voila!

Ikkaku's Bankai is to heavy to use.

Shikai... Same thing, but Kira has a lot more possibility to block.


Kira also seems at least decent in Kido...


Kira has the upper hand. His Shikai is basically an Ikkaku counter.
 
As much as i hate to admite it seems Kira is going to win he has a good defence and Ikkaku isn't really on the carm side when it comes down to fighting and after his onsluaght of combo's ikkau will be unable to attack and Kira with most probs covered in little cuts and will be able to slash away.
 
Kira thinks he's won, but it turns out all he increased the weight of was Ikkaku's sheath, and the sword itself is millimetres away from his face...
