Hypothetical situation:

Let's say that for whatever reason, after this fight, Sasuke comes to the realization that:

The only way for him to accomplish his goals of revenge is for him to gain MS.

He also believes that the only way for him to gain MS is for him to kill Naruto.

Would Sasuke try to kill Naruto to gain MS?

Would Sasuke try to accomplish his revenge without MS knowing that he didn't have the power?

Would Sasuke give up on revenge altogether?

I don't think so... he would find the Will of Fire and that would give him the strength

HE CUT HIS BONDS WITH NARUTO 3 YEARS AGO!! HE DOES NOT CONSIDER NARUTO HIS BEST FRIEND ANYMORE!!

HE CANT GET ms THAT WAY!!

I have a feeling he would definitely try to kill Naruto, but in the end not be able to do it for one reason or another at the last moment.

Sasuke's an anti hero, he won't cave in to Naruto's way of fire until he's dead or doesn't exist.

The Will of Fire doesn't belong to Naruto, it belongs to every shinobi in Konoha. Sasuke is Fugaku's son, he's destined to become the protector of Konoha.

Yes, if he came to the conclusion that there was no way to defeat Itachi or Madara without obtaining the Mangekyō, Naruto would finally get that fight he's been waiting for quite quickly. It's been made obvious that Sasuke puts himself and his friends below completing his goal.

Well,if Naruto goes training we all know that Sasuke wouldent stand a chance after that, cause Kishi already showed us what Sasuke is capable off with his whole supershinobi enchantments that he got from Oro smile-big

Sasuke cut his bonds, but then we have the scene of him smiling at the bridge. Like a stretched rope being pulled and cut, a few fibers still remain.

He wouldn't kill Naruto. He avoids killing where necessary. In fact, he has avoided it all the way up to now to save it for Itachi (except Orochimaru.. and he's just an evil bastard :p)
