Honkai Impact 3rd Calculations

Welt Young's black hole, Sirin's TK speed, Avrora's hurricane
Edit: Fixed the image problem.

While there are some some other feats, these are really the stand-out feats that can easily be done and set up the scaling for most of the characters in the series.

Welt Yang creates a black hole to absorb Sirin.

Spoiler:
Feat:

Spoiler:

In this case, the first thing that we need to do is demonstrate that this is a real black hole. In this case, there is not the appearance of any actual black hole, but we also have the existence of the event horizon and the effects of time dilation. We see the latter effect in battle. From these three qualities, I believe that accepting this as a real black hole is reasonable.

Spoiler:

Now we can calculate this.

Siren: 36.2+71.6 = 107.8 pixels (1.49 meters (average height for a 12-year-old girl))
Black hole: 516.6 pixels (7.14 meters)
Radius of black hole: 3.57 meters

Mass: 2.4e27 kg ()

Now we'll use mass-energy formula to find the energy to create it.

mc^2 =
2.4e27*299792458^2
= 215,701,242,896,836,233,600,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 joules
= 2.15e44 joules
= 2.15 foe
Large star level+

Welt also has to sustain the existence of the black hole as well:

Siren throws meteors at the Earth

Spoiler:
Feat:

This is mostly straightforward. Siren is on the moon and throws meteors from the moon to the Earth. The entirety of the feat takes place on one page.

Average distance from the Earth to the moon is 384,402 KM from Earth. While there is no stated time frame, from the context within the panels, it was likely a very short time frame, so we'll use a one minute time frame.

3.84e8/60
= 6,406,700 m/s
Mach 18,843 or 2% of the speed of light. Sub-relativistic.

The last feat that I will look at is Avrora maintaining a large storm, which is essentially a hurricane.

Spoiler:
Feat:

There is no timeframe for this feat, so we'll have to look at some other way to calculate this. Fortunately this has been done:

Looking at method 2, we get a 1.3e17 joules per day. This is equal to 1.5e9 joules per second. This is about 356 tons of TNT equivalent.

Whether higher or lower, this is a multi-city block feat.

Final Tally
Welt Yang creates a black hole: 2.15 foe
Sirin throws meteors at Earth: Mach 18,843 or 2% of SoL
Avrora maintains a hurricane: 356 tons of TNT equivalent per second

I have some other calculations, but they either involve black holes with Welt (ergo unnecessary since they'll all come out to star-level, though in this case they are large-star-level) or annoying to find things to cite claims for (e.g. Walter's black holes).

I think I should calculate Wendy destroying New Zealand with her hurricane, though I would need to find where that is again (has to be in Chapter 3 or 4 of the game or the comic around the current timeline). I also need to finish Wendy's Gem of Desire being able to vaporize several cities in an instant.

Mangakalot, look for honkai impact 3 chapter 0

Gem of Desire energy

The Gem of Desire has enough power to vaporize several cities, and it would do that if its energy was released.

While the distance between cities may vary, tells gives us differing distances between two cities around the world (city defined as an area with over one million inhabitants). The bottom tells us that 7 cities in America are within 25 kilometers of each other, so we can use that as our absolute low-end.

Radius: 12.5 kilometers

Playing with our , we get these results for that radius:

Airblast: 5.3 megatons
NTF: 99 megatons

Another way of finding distance would be to look for the median of the graph, which falls in the 101 KM to 150 KM group, so we'll use the lower bound of 50 KM as our radius.

Airblast: 351 megatons
NTF: 6.64 gigatons

Final Tally
12.5KM Low-end: 5.3 megatons of TNT equivalent
12.5KM high-end: 99 megatons of TNT equivalent

50KM Low-end: 351 megatons of TNT equivalent
50KM high-end: 6.64 gigatons of TNT equivalent

So at least city level to potentially island level.

Unsure, though it is consistent with the series
If that's where the citation comes from, then that won't be doing much.

Regardless, Wendy should be at least multi-city block-level or city-, possibly island-level. Since the Gem of Desire boosted her to a Herrscher with a 2000 HW inital emission while Welt Joyce had an eruption of about 2500 HW. One of Mei's blasts has an attack of 3200 HW. The minimum threshold for a Herrscher to spring up is 1000 HW, and Otto noted that Siren's three resurrected Pseudo Herrschers had about 50% of her own initial emission levels. Unless Sirin started off with 4000 HW, Wendy should easily scale to any Pseudo Herrscher.

Walter clone black holes
In chapter thirteen page eleven, the Walter clone uses his gravity manipulation to create a black hole to take Kiana's Gungnir attack. In an , We learn why these clones are able to use gravity manipulation despite the fact that the power of the first core isn't gravity manipulation:

"Once the 1st Herrscher copy things, it can become like "muscle memory" copies, it's "blueprint" will be retained, and it will be copied more effectively the next time it is used. We remember that the Welt clones appeared in the comics "AE Invasion" and "Moon Shadow", even without holding the 9th Divine Key, still instinctively used the ability to control gravity."

Considering that I have previously demonstrated that Welt's quasi black holes have actual characteristics of real black holes, and that these clones can instinctively use the gravity manipulation that allows for the construction of these real black holes, then it follows that the quasi black hole here would also be legitimate since it's basically coming from the same source of power.

The art is wonky in this chapter (likely in this entire volume), so I will measure from the foreground to the background since, logically, you can scale from the foreground to the background, though it will undersell the scaling a bit.

Welt clone is 473.91 pixels. The black hole measures 277.13 pixels. Assuming that the clone is 1.71 meters, the makes the black hole's diameter to be .999 meters. The radius is about .499 meters.

Using , we get a mass of 3.36e39 kg.

mc^2
= 2.36e26*299792458^2
= 2.12e43 joules.
21 tenateratons, or large star level

But wait, if the Welt clone was able to use gravity manipulation from muscle memory alone, considering how the 1st Herrscher's powers work, couldn't OG Welt copy Sirin's powers as well? In a VS debate, that would let him analyze and copy other powers too, no?

Theoretically, anyone with the Core of Reason can create anything that they actually understand, but we don't know the actual reason as to why Welt Young has the abilities of the Herrscher of Earth. It's unlikely that any very of Welt (Joyce, Young, or their copies) can analyze and understand another Herrscher's (or anyone else's) abilities in the midst of battle. Welt Yound certainly didn't display that level of ability during either of his fights with Sirin.

There's a lot of content, too. Apparently Fu Hua is immortal, and they're releasing more and more lore. I keep seeing snippets of untranslated comics. I'll see if I can find them

Yes, I try to keep up with everything, though I admit that I haven't finished the latest Chapter in the game (I should finish that today) and that I haven't been reading Fu Hua's newest comic. But the latter is because I have no interest in Fu Hua.

Don't forget that everyone and there grandma has some form of time stop in the verse
It's not a time stop actually. It acts more like a time slow if the Reburn video is any indication.

I agree with everything up to 4, but the rest I'm not too sure about. Tbh, I haven't been able to read the series in order, and that's not even including the game. Also, the previous herschers don't have enough feats. Iirc Fu hua said that Agatha was a joke compared to the real Herscher of fire. Himeko, using what I assume was an unstable fraction of that power with her battle suit was able to somewhat match Herscher!Clone Kiana. And then there's the Herscher of death...

1-Will of the Honkai (basically god)
2- 14h Herscher: stated numerous times to be the strongest herscher known
3- Kevin a.k.a best boy a.k.a OG Shounen protagonist
3.5 Prime Fu Hua
4. Two Activator Siegfried

the rest I honestly don't know...

Owl's black hole
In Chapter 19, Owl becomes the Herrscher of Stars. This Herrscher contains similar gravity powers to the Herrscher of Earth from the Previous Era. These gravity powers can create black holes as observed in this thread in the very first post.

Feat can be seen .

The of the island of Coral. We will take this as the event horizon as we have done for some other calculations such as .

According to the game, Coral has an area of 790 sq. kilometers. We will simply shape Coral into a circle. The radius of the circle would be about 15.858 kilometers.

We can calculate the mass here by inputting the radius:

Mass: 1.068e32 kilograms

e=mc^2
= 1.068e31*299792458^2
= 959,870,530,890,921,239,520,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 joules
= 959.87 Foe

This is solar system level.

Final Tally
Owl creates a black hole: 959.87 foe

Microcosm creation, Durandal shrinks a universe [for fun]
In the Durandal visual novel, we get two noteworthy energy feats, which I've finally taken the time to calculate. The first feat will be more solid than the second feat, which is done more as an exercise.

Microcosm creation
Spoiler:
On the visual novel, we receive this information about creating a microcosm through an Aether Point:

"Caterina: That said—— The volume of this world is significantly smaller than the volume of the original world.
Caterina: Maybe if I explain it like this it'll be easier to understand. Upon activation, if one were to rank the Houkai energy used by the 「Ether Anchor」 to build a 「microcosm」, you would get a similar amount to the energy levels the 「First Herrscher」 or 「2nd Herrscher」 possessed.
Schrodinger: I see. But in terms of scale, the Houkai energy later Herrscher are able to manipulate is far higher than that..."

- Chapter 20

There is a night sky in this microcosm, and we are provided an image:

As we can see, this is a pretty full shot of a night sky filled with stars.

There are about (in an individual hemisphere), so we'll use that number. We'll use the sun's GBE here.

Sun GBE: 5.693e41 joules

5.693e41*4548
= 2.58e45 joules
= 25.89 foe

We can also use the complete night sky since both hemispheres appear to have stars in their night skies.

5.693e41*4548*2
= 5.178e45 joules
= 51.78 foe

Solar system level.

Durandal places a universe into a black hole

Spoiler:
To save a dying microcosm, Durandal shrinks it and places it inside a black hole. The feat itself is at least multi-star level, but, for fun, we'll just calc the creation of the black hole since this series has been show to portray them properly in many cases.

"Her method won't fundamentally solve the problem, it's just a substitute of La Niña's plan, it will only delay the "death" of this world. Also, everyone except them four will be stranded in this dying bubble world they like it or not. The cracks in space-time will be locked from the outside and there won't be a chance to say goodbye to them or even tell them what happened. There won't be a chance to opportunity to fix Durandal either. However Schrodinger can promise her this world will definitely gain more precious time to live. During that time maybe her, Shigure, Otto or someone from Negentropy will find a way to help this world. The final decision is up to Bianka.

Yes, she wants Bianka to replace La Niña. She will occupy the position of "God" and lock the existence of this bubble world to her. As long as she lives, this world will live. If she dies, the disintegration process will begin. She performed even better than Durandal itself as the container of the gems which is what gave her this idea. Although they still can't separate La Niña from the Ether Anchor, they can use the Durandal gems to seal the Ether Anchor, this bubble world and its Houkai energy within her body.

...

Bianka calls upon the Durandal gems once again to surpass their limits together. She gained a new armor, Durandal has fused with Bianka on a much deeper level. They create a black hole to put the bubble world inside of it. Schrodinger tells Rita to get the Gnius ready and Shigure to wake up Niggurath."

- Chapter 30

Sun mass = 1.9891e30 kg

We will just estimate the stars being the same size for simplicities sake.

1.9891e30*4548
= 9.04e33 kg

e= mc^2
9046426800000000000000000000000000*(299792458^2)
= 813052293556353724520875200000000000000000000000000 joules
= 81,305,22.93 foe
= 81 megafoe

Which is galaxy level

Final Results
Microcosm creation: 25.89 foe 0 51.78 foe
Durandal shrinks a microcosm into a black hole: 81 megafoe (this is small galaxy level, but the calc is just for fun: it is better treated as multi-star level because she shrunk stars)

While some people have brought up concerns about "black hole creation abuse" that I seem to be running with this series, we see consistency even outside of those feats:

  • Sirin entering the event horizon of a black hole
  • Walt Yang and Einstein/Tesla not being sure if a planned supernova attack would be enough to put down a weakened Sirin
  • Microcosm creations needing energy on par with the some of weakest Herrschers in the Current Era
  • Durandal shrinking a microcosm (filled with stars as we can see) into a black hole

These are all star+ feats. And then add on all of the black hole creation feats.

Welt Joyce, Welt Yang, and Sirin are mentioned, are they would clearly scale to the 25 foe feat. All Herrschers would. Durandal obviously scales to her own feat. MANTIS too.

I will try to calculate some speed feats at some point since they are still stuck at sub-relativistic.

- Chapter 30

No direct time frame is given. Given that we can see a night sky full of stars, we can use something such as the 5000 closest stars to obtain a distance.

This catalog gives a rough estimate of some of our closest stars. It's not letting me get ot the page of the 4,548th star, but it would be a low ball anyway since the characters travelled both hemispheres and would've seen over 10,000 stars at night in total. So we'll just go with the 4,501st star in the catalog: OGLE-2016-BLG-1195L b.

It's listed as being 3,910 parsecs away from Earth. This is 12,752.71 lightyears (1.206e20 meters). The feat is obviously done in a small amount of time. It's unclear how long. We can estimate and hour to a day, though the latter is unlikely.

Low-end: 1.206e20/(60*60)
= 33,500,000,000,000,000 m/s
= 111,743,971 c

High-end: 1.206e20/(60*60*24)
= 1,395,833,333,333,333.33 m/s
= 4,655,998 c

Sirin crosses in and out of the event horizon of a black hole

Spoiler:
In first major battle of the Second Eruption, Welt uses the fake Star of Eden's Zeroth Power to create a black hole to suck in Sirin. At this point, Sirin is seriously tired after being hit by the Silver Bullet bomb. The relevant feats are posted below:

We can see that once she passes the event horizon of the black hole, she is able to move one of her arm in and out and resist falling into it. Obviously, though, she's too tired to resist it for long.

There's nothing to calculate with numbers. It's an obvious transluminal/FTL feat since light can't escape once it crosses the event horizon, so Sirin moving in and out obviously implies that she is moving at least that fast.

Final Results
Durandal shrinks a small universe: 4,655,998 c - 111,743,971 c
Sirin moves in and out a black hole: >1c

Bianka destroys Europe, Durandal shrinks a small universe 2
Bianka can destroy Europe

In order to cleanse a bubble universe from the Honkai that infests it, Bianka, using Durandal, needs to destroy Europe.

Spoiler:

Area of Europe: 10,180,000,000,000 m^2 (Wikipedia)
Average Elevation: 838 m (National Geographic)
Volume: 8,530,840,000,000,000 m^3

Rock pulverization: 200 j/cc

8,530,840,000,000,000,000,000*200
= 1706168000000000000000000 joules
= 407,783,938,814,531.6
= 407 teratons of tnt equiv.

Bianka shrinks a small universe

So, this was calculated .

Spoiler:

According to the above screenshots, the timeframe is much smaller than one hour. It seems to be less than a few minutes in terms of time.

We can adjust the range from one minute to ten minutes.

Low-end: 1.206e20 meters/600 seconds
= 201000000000000000 m/s
= 670,463,841 c
High-end: 1.206e20 meters/60 seconds
= 2010000000000000000 m/s
= 6,704,638,410 c

The reality warping here is high-end solar system level/star system level. It has to be since there are thousands are stars being warped. I wonder if this can be scaled to attack speed (and reaction speed by extension of reacting to attacks). In the VN, Durandal absorbs the universe into the event horizon she creates. Is this absorbing speed something akin to telekinesis? So does attack speed scale? It ,ay be debatable, but there's no reason to pay attention to these numbers since the series is still continuing, and no one uses this series anyway.

Final Results
Durandal destroys Europe: 407 teratons
Durandal shrinks a small universe: 670,463,841 c - 6,704,638,410 c

Durandal shrinks a small universe: 670,463,841 c - 6,704,638,410 c
So after reviewing this calc, it's good to scale.

The speed would apply for reactions and attack speed for characters at the level of Dea Anchora Durandal and above her.

The reason it's good is because the armor gives Durandal access to the full power of the sword Durandal and also access to the Sea of Quanta, an infinite multiverse. In Rita's Spina Astera armor (the functional equivalent of Dea Anchora), Rita can also access the power of the sword Durandal.

Bronya crosses a myriad of universes
In Chapter 12, in the Sea of Quanta, Bronya needs to collect different parts of Welt Yang's power, which is scatted among a myriad of bubble universes []. She rides off on her bike as seen at the end of the clip. Later, Kevin is aware of Bronya's mission and says that she's crossed "one bubble universe after another" [].

Our time frame will be a few hours as a high end since between the time that Bronya goes in search for the power and then finds Seele, Seele experiences the Sakura/Rin tragedy, which shouldn't be more than a few hours. Sakura was a known intruder, Kevin was looking for her, and it shouldn't take so long to find her since her destination was known.

We will assume two universes, though Welt saying that his power was dispersed among a myriad of bubble universes seems to imply many more.

Distance crossed: 1.76e27 meters
TImeframe: 10800 seconds (3 hours)
Speed: 162962962962962962962962.96 m/s
= 543,585,940,740,741c
543.6 trillion c

Obviously, the feat is much faster.

Elysia star movement
Feat:
Timeframe: 40 seconds
(at the 30min mark)

I'm justifying this timeframe since the two feats are similar in concept: Elysia moves some stuff around in the sky. I tracked one of the lights, and it seems to take about 40 seconds to orbit. It seems like a plausible assumption to me.

Low-end Distance (Proxima Centauri distance from Earth as radius): 4.25 lightyears (4.02e16 meters)
Circumference: 2.52e17 meters

High-end Distance (Farthest star we can see with the naked eye): 4000 lightyears (3.78e19 meters)
Circumference: 2.37e20 meters

Speed:

Low end: 2.52e17/40

High end: 2.37e20/40

Siegfried uses Judgment of Shamash's Might of An-Utu to make a big shockwave
Feat:

Siegfried uses Judgment of Shamash's Might of An-Utu to make a big shockwave: and and

Earth: 2442 px (7917.5 miles)
Diameter of shockwave: 851.7 px (2761.39 miles)
Radius: 1,380.7 miles

Air blast radius (widespread destruction): 33610000 megatons of tnt equivalent

33.61 teratons, which is country level, I think.

Following this, this:

Is galaxy level.

So the question is if this it an outlier. Let's look at the close feats:

- The energy from the Core of Reason destroys multiple bubble universes in the Sea of Quanta:
- Herrscher of Reason Bronya destroys a universe using a blackhole with the Star of Eden:
- The Herrscher of Domination created a universe:
- The Durandal has been maintaining the stability of the bubble universe within Durandal:
- Elysia creates a space that contains stars in the sky:
- Elysia moves stars at faster-than-light speeds:
- Elysia moves stars in the night sky at faster-than-light speeds:
- There's only a 1% chance that Sirin wouldn't be able to survive a supernova:
- The energy to create a microcosm is similar to that of the first or second Herrscher:

More than enough solar system and above feats to accept the feat.

= 9.04e33 kg

e= mc^2

Just updating this based on the first two quoted posts.

Milky Way: 1.15e12 solar masses
Solar mass: 2e30kg

E=mc^2

2e30*1.15e12*299729458^2
= 2.06e54 joules
= 2.06e15 foe

2 petafoe.
