Its exactly what it sounds like. A 64 member single elimination tournament between Final Fantasy characters.
But like most tournaments this one is going to require a little bit of prep work to finish complete it. So, without further ado we'll get started with the most important aspect, seeding.
First, restrictions.
1. All characters have to appear in a Final Fantasy Title. It can be any Final Fantasy title, including all sequel games and yes, even movies.
Kingdom Hearts is not a Final Fantasy title, and Kingdom Hearts feats will not be allowed.
2. Game Mechanics, for the purpose of this tournament, are acceptable as feats since many characters only have game mechanics to go on.
3. Seed selection: There are going to be 4 list of 16 to make up the tournament field. The Categories are Player Characters, Non Player Characters, Bosses, Mobs.
Player Characters are characters that are playable by the player.
Non Player Characters are not Playable by the player, but may are not bosses.
Boss Characters are of course characters that you can fight against as Boss Battles.
Mobs are random encounters, or other monsters that have appeared throughout the series. They include characters such as the Tonberry and Cactaurs.
Some characters appear in multiple categories, such as several members of the Turks. For instance, Reno of the Turks first appeared as a Boss, and then a Player Character, and more recently as a non player character. In the cases of characters that appear multiple times, whichever bracket they rank the highest in is the one they will be seeded to.
Seeding points work as follows. There are four lists, ranging from 1 to 16. You can fill out as many or as few as you want. Characters ranked in the number 1 position on your list will recieve 16 points, 2 will receive 15 and so on. The characters with the most points will be first and will continue going down the list until all positions have been field.
