Perhaps a funny, serious, and very interesting topic all in one here people. I mean that guy's.... or creature's eyes are fucked up. Only a select few have abnormal eyes in this manga, and they all have Kekkei Genkai. The only person I can think of who has weird eyes but it's never been stated she had a bloodline is Kurenai.

I am sure GB will be all over this, but seriously, do you think Zetsu really has a bloodline like rinnegan, sharingan, or byakugan? Not to say it would be better or worse than these three just wondering. I have always wondered about this, perhaps his eyes ties into how he will fight (if fucking kishi ever let's him :mad).

Probably not, as you have mentioned, Kurenai has abnormal eyes as well and as of now it appears she does not have any doujutsu.

Zetsu has abnormal eyes, but his body is abnormal as well, but you're definition there could be a possibility with Kisame as well and I do not believe this to be the case.

It's a strong possibility...he's too unique.

I expect him to have a Bloodline, not sure if it'll be a doujutsu though.
 
He might do. I mean his whole body looks wierd and warped. Has 2 sides, a fly trap around him, 2 minds (as well?)...
Either hes an experiment, or something genetic might be a factor. That is not what normal ninjas in the naruto world look like.
 
Eh, it's hard to say. I don't think it's some sort of doujutsu, there's already too many of those for my tastes and I'd prefer Zetsu's super-eyesight to be a result of something else. Hell, we don't even know why he looks the way he looks or why he seems to have a split personality, and until we find out his backstory (if Kishi even bothers to give us one) then for the time being I can't really say whether he has a kekkei genkai or is just weird looking.

I don't think it's another Doujutsu though, something more to do with that freaking Venus Flytrap on his head....
 
He probably has some sort of bloodline limit but not doujutsu. I still don't understand why people think that he is so powerful, maybe it is just the mystery surrounding him, I honestly think that he is just there for recon and information gathering purposes only as he has shown to only be able to do.

Speaking of the giant Venus flytrap, I have a weird theory that Zetsu's 'black' half talking is really the flytrap talking. Spawned from seeing Zetsu's first appearance in the manga in Waldenbooks one day, where I thought I saw a mouth on his chest where the plant joins his body...

I'm still not sure if I was just seeing things or something. O.o
 
Saying that Zetsu has the Golden Byakugan is a major leap in theories. But you never know what could happen, Yasha's tengu theory partly came true so far. Notice how Susuanoo looks very much like the Tengu? The theory is major and very popular over the internet so I wouldn't be surprised if word about this reached Kishimoto's ears since he is bent on pleasing fans. Who knows, he could have even heard of this.

Well, you've said Kurenai. There's also Orochimaru, Kakuzu, Gaara and Kyuubi Naruto if you want to accept them (I'll throw in the Inazuka Clan with them too),

Kisame's eyes are a bit wierd...

Yeah; it's not just Kekkai Genkai Doujutsu that can give you strange eyes.

Zetsu might have a Kekkai Genkai, but it does'nt need to have much to do with has eyes.
 
I'm gonna say no. I think his clan just has some weird abilities, like Shikamaru's shadow techniques or Kidoumaru's weird spider things.

I hope GB doesn't see this, you will get negged. Anyway I think it would be cooler for him to be able to get the person's jutsu's, etc when he eat's them, but that's just me.
 
No, I don't think he has a blood line. He probably used forbidden jutsus on his body, and weird eyes aren't that abnormal in a manga.
 
I'm hoping for something better than a mutafuka bloodline. Like he was bound to a plant, or he was an experiment. That'd be much more badass.
 
i dont know. its possible.. maybe those lightning guys did something with that dead hyuuga dudes body and it resulted in zetsu. who knows.. but his eyes are golden, which needs some explanation.
