When Sherlock was killed in the valley by Moriarty, he was brought back by Arthur Conan Doyle brilliantly. Why? Could you imagine a better character than him in detective fiction?
So basically, why can't Kishi try and do the same and in some plausible way, bring back Jiraiyah to life?
Sure most of you would say that "He was a great character and died a great death"
But think. Who was the most fun in the whole manga?
Who was the only family Naruto ever had?
Who knows everything possible about Naruto's parents?
Who taught Naruto the jutsu that is the basis of all of Naruto's fights? Who was the one that Itachi and Kisame combined feared going up against?
Who was the one whogave Konoha its next hokage and a very good one at that...also in the process, changing a person for the better and helping the Naruto-world(Tsunade)?
Who was the one that introduced us to Akatsuki?
Who was the one who was so closely connected with a lot of the main characters in the story (Naruto, Pain, Yondaime, Kakashi, Orochimaru)? Who was the one who went up solo fearlessly against the all-conquering Rinnegan?
Who was the one who showed us the best diverse arsenal of jutsus including Taijutsu, Genutsu and Ninjutsu in the same fight?
who is the only openly ero character?
I don't know about you guys, but for me, He was the best goddamn character in the whole of manga and YES that includes Naruto!!!
But I don't want him back alive if it is going to be in as pathetic a way as Kishi has handled the last couple of fights.
I want him back with a bang. In such an unexpected but logical fasion, in such a pleasingly surprising way and at such a situation that is suited to a character of his level, caliber and for an entertainer such as him.
