Colossus vs. Mr. Fantastic

This is a comic book character with invulnerability. Guy can probably live for 15 years without food/water just like all the other brutes. :quite

Short answer: I don't know.

Well Mr. Fantastic can hold down the Thing, so it seems reasonable he could do the same to Colossus.

But I don't know how he's going to hurt him.

616 - Mr. Fantastic holds him until he's worn out, then Colossus ties him into knots.

Ultimate - Mr. Fantastic holds him until he figures out that his eyes are a weak spot. Bloodlusted Mr. Fantastic rips his brain out through the eye sockets.

I don't understand this whole "tie Reed into knots" arguement.

The dude can simply shrink/expand/alter his stretchiness to untie himself/ prevent himself from getting tied up in the first place... :sag

Also, Reed can pump himself up and gain some super strength, as witnessed in the Onslaught saga bit, or in one of his fights vs Namor

The 'tie reed into knots' argument has been brought because it's worked against him in the past.

CIS!!

Writers need to start thinking of Reed's body structure as more like a liquid, or chewing gum, rather then a static rubber band type stretchiness.

Plastic Man is more versatile for sure, what with being immortal as well, but when Reed is fully concentrating, he could easily manipulate his body to have a consistency more like liquid then just plain "stretchy", which is why I find the whole "lets tie him into knots" :zaru arguement to be bs.

*Just see the way in which he broke into The Thinkers lab.

Which is sad considering just 10 or so issues earlier, Reed was breaking into the Thinkers lab by flowing through his taps.. :sag
