[C.A.T.] Chase and Ambush

This is a coloring I started on about a month ago. I scrapped the first 2/3 tries due to testing/better version of the page, etc. I finally got a tablet a week or so ago and started on coloring. Tablets really are great! They save me so much time when I put in the base layers. I did most of this in Corel Painter, but I used Photoshop to get in the shapes, etc. since I'm not very good at using Painter yet.

Very Elegant-like. You set the mood with the expression of the body of the person in the picture and her face is in a state of mind concentrating, in most-likely, a chase.

The dark colors created the "clincher" of the picture expressing the atmosphere and the only person in the background, of what seems to be the outside of a building, is nicely done with his hidden face, incognito suit and his character.

Nice, I love how it has creepy feel to it and how you disguise the guy into the shadows, so the woman stand out even more!

I was trying to go with the original mood of the page just like you described it, and I was trying to somewhat imitate the original author's color style. You've got the whole thing down to a T. :]

Thanks, and I did try making her "stand out" more, but it didn't look that good with the whole piece.
